Smoother pages: swipes and tab changes glide on one spring

  • Pages and the tab pill slide on Core Animation: no blank or half-drawn pages mid-swipe, and the pill follows the swipe exactly
  • Animation in Settings → Appearance: Smooth, Snappy or Bouncy, now for pages, panes and lists too; Reduce Motion turns slides into fades
  • Panes in Shelf, Tasks, Tools and Agents switch with direction and a sliding underline
  • ⌃Tab / ⌘⇧] and ⌃⇧Tab / ⌘⇧[ step through tabs, and tab buttons name their page
  • Right-click a page to open its settings (Edit Controls…, Edit Shelf…)
  • Search: smoother typing, apps you open rank higher, file matches always make the list, and ↑↓ stop at the ends
  • Settings lists features in the notch's page order, and Tools' tabs no longer jump
  • Copied hex colors show as swatches in Clipboard
