Gyorsabb

• A látható felületrészre tett feliratok Horizontal, Free és Around point elhelyezéssel kizoomolva 2–3-szor könnyebbek. A 4.58.3 az Over point feliratokat gyorsította; most ezek is sorra kerültek:

  • Kizoomolva a legtöbb kis felület egy korábban elhelyezett felirat alá esik. Ezekben szabad helyet keresni volt a munka nagy része (egy frissítés 61 %-a), és nem talált egyet sem. Az ilyen felirat dobozába teljesen beleeső felületet mostantól azonnal kihagyja.
  • Minden felület csempénként egyszer dekódolódik minden elhelyezésnél (vonalaknál is), és ami csak az egész felülettől függ, zoomonként egyszer számolódik: a rangsorolt jelölt helyek (Horizontal), a szög (Free), a súlypont és a körülötte lévő helyek (Around point), a felirat mérete.
  • Kevesebb memóriafoglalás a közeli feliratok keresésekor.

  Egy feliratfrissítés egy 100 000 telkes tesztrétegen (Chrome szoftveres grafikával, így a számok csak egymáshoz mérhetők), 12 / 13 / 14-es zoom:

Faster

• Visible-polygon labels with Horizontal, Free and Around point placement are 2–3 times lighter zoomed out. 4.58.3 sped up Over point labels; these placements now get their share:

  • Zoomed out, most small polygons lie under a label placed before them. Finding a free spot in each of them was most of the work (61 % of an update), only to find none. A polygon wholly inside such a label's box is now skipped at once.
  • Every polygon is decoded once per tile for every placement (lines too), and what depends only on a whole polygon is computed once per zoom: its ranked candidate spots (Horizontal), its angle (Free), its centroid and the positions around it (Around point), its label's size.
  • Fewer allocations while looking up nearby labels.

  One label update on a 100 000-parcel test layer (Chrome with software graphics, so compare the numbers with each other), zoom 12 / 13 / 14:

Gyorsabb

• A látható felületrészre tett feliratok kizoomolva sokkal könnyebbek. Ezeket a feliratokat (Polygon labels: Visible polygon, és a QGIS alapértelmezett Centroid: visible polygon beállítása) a megjelenítő helyezi el a térkép mozgatása közben. Sűrű rétegen, kizoomolva a szükségesnél jóval többet dolgozott:

  • Szinte minden, a képernyő körüli felülethez előre feliratot készített, átfedésvizsgálat nélkül: egy 100 000 telkes tesztrétegen 12-es zoomon 26 523 feliratot, amelyből 523 látszott. Mindegyik a MapLibre-hez került és ott tördelődött. Mostantól az előre készített feliratok is kikerülik egymást, ahogy a képernyőn fogják: 746 készül, és ugyanaz az 523 látszik.
  • Minden frissítéskor minden felületet beolvasott és levágott. A teljesen a képernyőn, vagy teljesen azon kívül lévő felület felirata mostantól csempénként egyszer kiszámolt pontra kerül; csak a képernyő vagy egy csempe szélén lévő felületek vágódnak (mindegyik egyszer dekódolva).
  • Mozgatás közben egy frissítés kétszer annyit vár, mint amennyi az előző volt, így a nehéz térkép is folyamatosan rajzol.

  A tesztrétegen 12-es zoomon (Chrome szoftveres grafikával, így a számok csak egymáshoz mérhetők): főszál-munka 74 s → 33 s, worker-munka 25 s → 1,1 s, egy képkocka mozgatás közben 1,3 s → 0,27 s (medián), a térkép megállásáig eltelt idő legfeljebb 7 s → legfeljebb 2,6 s. A képernyőn ugyanazok a feliratok látszanak. A böngésző a legkizoomoltabb nehéz zoomokon a gyorsítótárhoz kb. 50 MB-tal több memóriát használ.

  • Az Over point / súlypontos elhelyezésre vonatkozik; a Horizontal, Free, Around point és vonalfeliratok a korábbi utat követik (a fenti első és utolsó változással).

• Polygon labels on the visible part are much lighter zoomed out. These labels (Polygon labels: Visible polygon, and QGIS's default Centroid: visible polygon) are placed by the viewer as the map moves. On a dense layer zoomed out, it did far more than needed:

  • It prepared a label for nearly every polygon around the screen, in advance, without checking whether they overlap: 26 523 labels at zoom 12 on a 100 000-parcel test layer, of which 523 showed. Every one was sent to MapLibre and laid out there. Now the labels prepared in advance keep clear of each other as they will on screen: 746 are written, and the same 523 show.
  • It read and clipped every polygon on every update. A polygon wholly on the screen, or wholly off it, now gets its label at a point computed once per tile; only polygons at the screen's or a tile's edge are clipped (each decoded once).
  • While the map moves, an update waits twice as long as the last one took, so a heavy map keeps drawing its frames.

  On the test layer at zoom 12 (Chrome with software graphics, so compare the numbers with each other): main-thread work 74 s → 33 s, worker work 25 s → 1.1 s, a frame while panning 1.3 s → 0.27 s (median), time until the map settles up to 7 s → up to 2.6 s. The labels on screen are the same. The browser keeps up to about 50 MB more for the cache at the most zoomed-out heavy zooms.

  • Applies to Over point / centroid placement; Horizontal, Free, Around point and line labels keep the previous path (with the first and last change above).

• Élesebb, vékonyabb vonalak a kizoomolt képeken. A kizoomolva képként rajzolt réteg (Zoomed out oszlop: image) normál felbontásban készült, így a QGIS hajszálvonalai (nulla vastagságú vonalak, pl. telekhatárok) ott egy teljes pixel szélesek voltak, nagy felbontású képernyőn pedig elmosódtak. A sűrű telekháló egybefolyt, éppen az, amit a Thin hairlines (Output beállítások, alapból bekapcsolva) a vektoros vonalaknál elkerül. Ha ez be van kapcsolva, a képek mostantól kétszeres felbontásban készülnek: a hajszálvonalak ugyanolyan vékonyak, mint a vektorosak, minden más méret ugyanaz marad, és a vonalak nagy felbontású képernyőn is élesek. A képek kb. háromszor nagyobbak (100 000 telek 15-ös zoom alatt: 3,6 MB → 10,1 MB, még mindig harmada annak, mintha minden elem rajzolódna), az export alig lassabb.

• Sharper, thinner lines in zoomed-out images. A layer drawn as images zoomed out (Zoomed out column: image) was rendered at normal resolution, so QGIS's hairlines (zero-width lines, e.g. parcel boundaries) were a full pixel wide there and blurred on high-resolution screens. A dense parcel grid looked filled in, which is what Thin hairlines (Output options, on by default) avoids for the vector lines. With that option on, the images are now rendered at twice the resolution: their hairlines are as thin as the vector ones, every other size stays the same, and the lines are sharp on high-resolution screens. The images are about three times larger (100 000 parcels below zoom 15: 3.6 MB → 10.1 MB, still a third of drawing every feature), and the export is barely slower.

• A Zoomed-out load csak ott javasolja a Merged (összevont) módot, ahol az összevonás nem változtat a megjelenésen. Az összevonás az egy stílusú elemeket egyetlen alakzattá olvasztja, ezért az ellenőrzés mostantól a réteg szimbológiáját is megnézi. Merged javaslatot az egyszerű kitöltésű, legfeljebb 64 stílusú felületrétegek kapnak. Image (kép) javaslatot kapnak inkább:

  • a körvonalas rétegek (az elemek közötti körvonalak elvesznének), hacsak a körvonal nem teljesen átlátszó;
  • a mintázatos, színátmenetes, shapeburst, SVG, raszteres és egyéb különleges kitöltések (az összevont alakzaton egyszer terülnének el);
  • az adatvezérelt (data-defined) stílusok (szinte minden elem külön stílus);
  • a rajzolási effektusok;
  • a 64-nél több stílus;
  • az inverz felület és a 2.5D megjelenítők.

  Az okot a buboréksúgó írja ki; a Merged kézzel továbbra is választható. Az összevont réteg becsült mérete a stílusok számával nő.

• Megjegyzés: a QGIS alapértelmezett felületstílusának van körvonala, így a legtöbb telekréteg Image javaslatot kap, hacsak a körvonalat ki nem kapcsolod.

• Zoomed-out load suggests Merged only where merging keeps the look. Merging joins the features of one style into one shape, so the check now reads the layer's symbology. Merged is suggested for polygon layers drawn with plain fills of up to 64 styles. Image is suggested instead for:

  • outlines (the ones between the features would be lost), unless fully transparent;
  • pattern, gradient, shapeburst, SVG, raster and other special fills (laid out once over the joined shape);
  • data-defined styling (nearly every feature is its own style);
  • draw effects;
  • more than 64 styles;
  • inverted-polygon and 2.5D renderers.

  The tooltip says why; Merged can still be chosen by hand. The estimate of a merged layer grows with its number of styles.

• Note: the default QGIS polygon style has an outline, so most parcel layers get Image unless their outline is switched off.

• A Zoomed-out load ellenőrzés összevont vagy képes megjelenítést is javasol. Az ellenőrzés (Zoomed-out load… a Map fülön, és export előtt) eddig csak a réteg elrejtését javasolta, és csak ott, ahol az elemei egy-két pixelnél kisebbek. Az a réteg, amely nehéz, de az elemei még jól láthatók (telkek, épületek), nem kapott javaslatot. Mostantól az új Drawn zoomed out oszlopban kap: Merged (összevont, felületrétegeknél) vagy Image (kép), az első olyan zoom alatt, ahol már minden elem elég könnyű. Akkor van bepipálva, ha olyan zoomokat rajzol, amelyeket a Features from nem rejt el; a Features from pipáját kivéve a réteg minden kizoomolt szinten látható marad. • Zoomed-out load suggests merged or image drawing. The check (Zoomed-out load… on the Map tab, and before an export) suggested only hiding a layer, and only where its features are smaller than a pixel or two. A layer that is heavy where its features are still worth seeing (parcels, buildings) got no suggestion. Now such a layer gets one in the new Drawn zoomed out column: Merged (polygon layers) or Image, below the first zoom where every feature is light enough. It comes ticked when it draws zooms that Features from does not hide; untick Features from to keep the layer visible at every zoom out. Apply the checked settings writes it into the layer list's Zoomed out column.
• A layer already drawn merged or as images counts as such in the estimate (merged: about 5 % of the tile, images: no vector data), so the check before an export no longer asks about it. A mode set from too low a zoom gets a closer zoom suggested.
