RaidLead Companion 0.5.6
What's new in 0.5.6
Logging in now uses a code. When you click Log In, Companion shows a six-character code, and the RaidLead page that opens asks you to type it. A login link on its own can't approve anything anymore — so if someone ever sends you a "connect your Companion" link, it can't hook their app up to your account. Only enter a code that's showing in Companion on your own PC.
Log Out signs this PC out on RaidLead too, the same as removing it under My Profile → Connected Devices.
Already logged in? Nothing to redo. This update only changes how new logins work. (Older versions of Companion can't start a new login anymore — they don't show a code — so update before logging in again.)
Under the hood: the settings window is locked down (it can't be sent to another page, and only runs its own code), your login is only ever saved encrypted, Companion and its installer only use Windows' own built-in tools, the WoW search only looks at your PC's own drives, and the file watcher was updated to a newer version.
Only download RaidLead from raidlead.vercel.app (the Loot tab's links) or this releases page. RaidLead never asks for your password.
Checking your download (optional): the installer's SHA-256 is

In PowerShell: Get-FileHash .\RaidLead-Companion-Setup.exe — the Hash should match exactly.
