Graphical manager for the UFW firewall (Rust + Tauri).

What's in this build

  • Rule sets with live diff preview, apply through a polkit helper, automatic rollback on failure
  • Import rules from the live UFW, full nftables ruleset viewer (read-only)
  • Ubuntu kernel CVE tracking (Ubuntu Security API) with one-click kernel module mitigations, 2-tab dialog with fixed sortable headers
  • Italian / English UI (language icon in the top bar)

Install (amd64)

sudo dpkg -i argo_0.1.0_amd64.deb

Requires libwebkit2gtk-4.1-0, polkitd, ufw (pulled automatically as dependencies). The package installs the privileged helper to /usr/local/libexec/argo/argo-helper plus its polkit policy, the desktop entry and icons.

Verify

sha256sum -c argo_0.1.0_amd64.deb.sha256

Build

cargo build --release && packaging/make-deb.sh (Ubuntu 26.04, Rust stable). Built with --remap-path-prefix; binaries contain no build-machine paths.
