Licensing and FAQ
CalibraX is free to download and use: open a project, browse calibrations, edit tables and scalars, read the ECU and write the flash back. You need an account to use the application.
The patches (Boost OS conversion, Launch Control and similar) are calculated on our servers and cost tokens, one token per patch step. The editor, the Logger and flash writing never use tokens. Your balance and history are in Account inside the application.
This is expected the first time you run the downloaded .exe: the build is not signed with a paid code-signing certificate, so it has no publisher reputation with Microsoft yet. Click More info, then Run anyway. You can verify the file by comparing its SHA256 hash against the value shown on the release page.
The release is a portable, self-contained .exe for Windows (win-x86). No separate .NET runtime install is required. Unzip and run CalibraX.exe.
Support is by part number, and new ones are added regularly. Open an issue with the part number of your ECU (it is printed on the label) and the vehicle.
CalibraX checks this repository when it starts and points you to the latest release.
