3 ways to schedule lambda

Use container image for lambda function

• it only supports Amazon ECR image in your private repositories. Your public repositories or AWS ECR Public Gallery is not supported.
• lambda is not designed for long running process, including listener. Start an http listener in lambda will always timeout. A workaround here

Step Functions

if you need a chain of sequential or parallel AWS Lambda functions, using AWS Step Functions to orchestrate them

Limit

• There is no way to run npm install in lambda nodejs environment
• You can package and deploy Lambda functions as container images of up to 10 GB in size.
• AWS raises these Concurrent and Memory quotas automatically based on your usage.
• 10 GB function memory
• Function timeout: 900 seconds
