History

  • 首款开源 MPP 数据仓库
  • 2007年，Greenplum 发布了 3.0 版本，与 PostgreSQL 分叉。
  • 2010年7月，EMC 收购了 Greenplum
  • 2013年4月，从 EMC 剥离，分拆出来的公司名为 Pivotal Software
  • 2019年，被 VMWare 收购，Pivotal 品牌更名为 VMWare Tanzu
  • 2023年，被 Broadcom 收购
  • In May 2024, Tanzu by Broadcom made the decision to close source the Greenplum Database project.
    • All future releases of Greenplum will released as part of the VMware Tanzu Data Suite
