Cloudroom v129 beta

One open-source home for Cloudroom. For Apple Silicon Macs on macOS 13 or later, plus a Linux x64 alpha and a Windows x64 beta.

Changes

  • The app, Core, and skills now live in one open-source repo, and app updates come from it.
  • Each agent in Settings has a new menu to make it the default, disconnect it, or remove it.
  • Cloudroom uses less CPU while it sits idle.
  • Stopping a sleeping Cloud thread no longer wakes it up.
  • A new setting collapses subagents in the sidebar.

Install or update

macOS: Quit Cloudroom, download the DMG, open it, and drag Cloudroom into Applications. Your data is kept. Signed and notarized by Apple.

Linux x64 (alpha): For Ubuntu 24.04+ and current Arch Linux.

./Cloudroom-v129-x86_64.AppImage

If it does not open, add --no-sandbox. For a FUSE error, install libfuse2t64 (Ubuntu) or fuse2 (Arch).

Windows x64 (beta): For Windows 11. Needs Git for Windows. Run Cloudroom-v129-x64.exe: it installs for your user, with no admin prompt, and updates itself. It isn't signed yet, so if Windows says it protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway.
