Cloudroom v138

Preview Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. For Apple Silicon Macs on macOS 13 or later, Linux x64, and Windows x64.

Changes

  • The right panel now previews Excel, Word, and PowerPoint files, plus archives and audio.
  • "Restart to update" is about 9 seconds faster.
  • Archiving a Local thread frees its worktree's disk space right away, and unarchiving brings it back with your work.
  • When your disk runs low, Cloudroom clears archived worktrees first.
  • Kilo Code and Cline can now be installed as Local agents.
  • Unarchive now shows on every archived thread, including forked and child threads.

Install or update

macOS: Quit Cloudroom, download the DMG, open it, and drag Cloudroom into Applications. Your data is kept. Signed and notarized by Apple.

Linux x64: For Ubuntu 24.04+ and current Arch Linux.

./Cloudroom-v138-x86_64.AppImage

If it does not open, add --no-sandbox. For a FUSE error, install libfuse2t64 (Ubuntu) or fuse2 (Arch).

Windows x64: For Windows 11. Needs Git for Windows. Run Cloudroom-v138-x64.exe: it installs for your user, with no admin prompt, and updates itself. It isn't signed yet, so if Windows says it protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway.
