RealStop now supports main-agent turns in Codex CLI through a standalone rules adapter. It observes by default and can issue one continuation when Codex offers to do work the user already requested. The adapter keeps task fingerprints and counters locally.

Install the release wheel and enable observation:

uv tool install --upgrade https://github.com/decision-tune/realstop/releases/download/v0.2.0/realstop-0.2.0-py3-none-any.whl
realstop setup --host codex

Start a fresh Codex CLI session and use /hooks to review and trust the RealStop commands. Use realstop status --host codex to inspect the counts. To opt into continuation, run realstop setup --host codex --mode block.

Verified on Codex CLI 0.166.0 with a staged unfinished two-file task and a completed-task optional-offer control. The existing paper's performance estimates do not evaluate this adapter.
