First public build of Bridge — a direct link between any Mac and any Android phone over Bluetooth LE and Wi-Fi. No cloud, no account, no server.

Or download Bridge-0.1.0.zip below. The build is ad-hoc signed and not notarized by Apple — the cask clears the quarantine attribute for you; a manual download needs System Settings → Privacy & Security.

Android
Download bridge-0.1.0.apk below and sideload it. Not on Google Play, so allow installs from your browser or file manager once.

Requires macOS 15+, Android 12+ (API 31), Bluetooth LE on both.

What works

Notification mirroring with reply from the Mac, file transfer both ways, phone battery on the menu bar, and clipboard sync.

Known limitation

Automatic background clipboard sync is not possible on Android 16 without rooting the phone — READ_CLIPBOARD_IN_BACKGROUND is role-managed and cannot be granted to a sideloaded app. Clipboard is therefore manual: the Quick Settings tile pushes phone→Mac, and opening the app applies whatever the Mac last copied. Setup

Install on both devices and open them — they find each other over BLE and pair on their own. If the Mac is already paired to another phone it will ask you to confirm the new one.
