v0.3.1 — bug fixes and a docs audit
sweep-solver 0.3.1
A bug-fix and documentation release on top of 0.3.0. Upgrade with
pip install -U sweep-solver. sweepx accepts 0.3.1, but pip install -U sweepx
leaves an installed 0.3.0 solver in place.
Fixed
-
cuda_options=CUDAOptions(memory=...)onimpl='c'is now read exactly likememory=. Before:Ckpt()andFull()raised at construction.BoundarySaving(storage='cpu', pinned_memory=True)silently ran the GPU ring.
(#92)
-
Curvilinear equations:
AcousticCurvilinearandElasticCurvilinearno longer count as compiled bindings.impl=Noneon a CUDA device runs them eager instead of raising, and the CLI lists them as eager-only. (#93) -
Domain decomposition:
ModelParallelrefuses a propagator built withtopography=instead of silently decomposing a flat-top problem. (#94) -
Diagnostics:
diagnostics()["shim"]reads"pybind"for aSWEEP_BUILD_CUDA=1install. (#91) -
Stale text: docstrings and error messages for PropBase, PropTorch, the visco-acoustic step, ADCIG, the per-edge free surface and DD. (#95)
Added
Full,BoundarySavingandCkptare importable fromsweep.propagator. (#95)
Documentation
- Shorter README and installation page. The release-core build rules moved to Developer › Release cores. (#90, #96)
- The API reference, user guide, examples and notebooks were audited against the code. The audit fixed wrong signatures and defaults, removed APIs, deprecated spellings shown as current, and JIT-era install claims. (#96)
The CUDA cores are the 0.3.0 binaries, unchanged: cu12 c72bdc3a, cu13 10832c06.
