Sill 1.0
Sill 1.0
It works, it plays: the first main version.
- No brass section: KEYS (a soft keyboard chord) on STABS in place of HORNS. A light solo trumpet, CORNET, on HOOK in
place of ROBOT, picked by some SKANK and PARTY songs. - ORCH is an effect: no song picks it for its stabs any more; it stays on the card.
- The footer shows the style and the song's number on every page.
- Each new version on
mainis tagged and released on GitHub with its package.
Runs on the FM-1. To go back: Felucca's or Tuna's installer, or the official V15.
Sill 0.4.1
The choir.
- VOX brings a choir instead of the crowd: the chord's third and fifth sung on OH or AH (CHOIR on the VOX page, or a
MIX) at the top of each bar of the chorus, in the verse too with VOX ALL. The shouts are gone. - No bells: STABS has EPIANO and HOOK has POP in their place. No brass: STABS has PWM, pulse-width strings.
- The stabs sit 2 dB lower.
- A hook's tuplet plays the chord playing, up or down, so it always fits.

Sill 0.4
Variety.
- Sixteen sounds a part. STABS: HOUSE, DEEP, HORNS, CHOIR, VIOLINS, TRANCE; BASS: ORGAN, SYNTH, SINE, TRANCE, DX,
GROWL; HOOK: REEDS, ANTHEM, CHOIR, WHISTLE, TRANCE, ROBOT. FRETLESS is called SLIDE. - Every style has four sounds a part: song 1 plays its own, every other song picks from the four, so a style's
songs do not all sound alike. - Tuplets: a song's hook may hold a triplet, a quadruplet, a quintuplet or a sextuplet; a fill may be a snare
triplet or a sextuplet roll. - Less drive: the mix has 2 dB of headroom against the limiter, the styles' DRIVE is lower and reaches half as
deep, and the hottest sounds carry less drive of their own.

Sill 0.3
The fill.
- HOOK SPEED PAD: no tune but a pad on the chords, held as long as each lasts, through the verse and the pre-chorus
too. A new HOOK sound, PAD, in place of CHIP. PIANOHOUSE starts with it, behind the piano. - The piano plays plain triads (root, third, fifth), over a loop of sevenths too and in its held chords; 2 dB
softer, level with the pad, under the bass.

Sill 0.2
The piano.
- PIANO is a real piano now: six notes of a Kawai grand (VCSL, CC0), bright and hard as the club pianos of the 90s,
with a high-pass at 180 Hz, a low-pass at about 5 kHz and a room of its own, sitting under the bass and the hook.
The FM house piano is gone. - PIANO on STABS plays the offbeat piano chords in any style: a chord on every "and", now and then the last one
early or a sixteenth after; through the verse too, softer. HEARTACHE and PIANOHOUSE start with it. - The site: each branch's pages keep their own try page; before a release the start page points to the test build.

Sill 0.1
The first release.
- Ten styles on two sides: CLUB (EUROSTOMP, VIKING, BUBBLEGUM, HEARTACHE, RAVE) and RADIO (SKANK, PIANOHOUSE,
PARTY, BALLAD, ITALO); a song for every ALGORITHM number; style and song change on the bar line. - A song's form: intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus, break, the last chorus a key up; round again with a new hook.
- LIFT, PUMP, VOX and ENERGY on the four knobs; BREAK on REC (tapped or held), KEY UP on SEQ.
- The keys play the hook, snapped to the scale; their LEDs show the chord.
- Thirty sounds on Felucca's engines, levels evened out; a house piano and an orchestra hit of Sill's own on FM6, a
supersaw hook in unison, a sung OOH on the VOICE engine. - A drum kit of Sill's own (CC0) with a crowd that shouts HEY, HO and WHOA, and Felucca's DRUM engine kits.
- Eight sets; settings saved while stopped; MIDI out on channels 1, 2, 3 and 10.
- The LASER palette, by default.
- In the browser: the same firmware on Felucca's emulator.
