Release list
DEOOS 0.8.0
Agents can drive durable workflows without learning the SDK.
- MCP tools (
python -m deoos mcp) list tasks, read status and history, and, with--allow-actions, submit, signal, retry, and cancel.agents/SKILL.mdis the drop-in skill. - Common server, CLI, and SDK errors say what failed and what to do next.
feedbackfiles anagent-feedbackGitHub issue, or prints a prefilled issue URL when no token is set. Reports include the deoos version, what was tried, and what happened. Secrets are refused unless the caller opts in.- Agent mode (
CURSOR_AGENT,CLAUDECODE,CODEX,DEOOS_AGENT=1, or--agent) prints one JSON line, progress on stderr, and a notice when a list or history is capped.
Packages for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Linux (x86_64 and arm64, glibc 2.28+), and Windows x86_64. The Python wheel and TypeScript package ship inside those archives. They are not on PyPI or npm.
Early release: no production HA or tenant isolation; external effects must be idempotent. Keep engine and SDK versions matched.
DEOOS 0.7.2
Durable execution on object storage.
Packages for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Linux (x86_64 and arm64, glibc 2.28+), and Windows x86_64.
- Run the Hacker News, DEV CSV, and payment recovery demos with one Docker Compose command, without local Python or Node setup.
- Support Linux x86_64 and arm64 demo containers with matching released SDKs and server.
- Add the TypeScript DEV workflow and verify saved-step recovery in both library and server mode.
- Preserve cleanup evidence and make public demo outputs readable outside the container. Execution engine behavior is unchanged.
Early release: no production HA or tenant isolation; external effects must be idempotent. Storage timeouts can stop a worker before its lease expires. Keep engine and SDK versions matched. The 0.6.0 storage layout is incompatible; use fresh state.
DEOOS 0.7.1
Durable execution on object storage.
Packages for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Linux (x86_64 and arm64, glibc 2.28+), and Windows x86_64.
- Fix task listing timing out under normal object-storage latency, with bounded parallel reads.
- Add a bounded crash-and-recovery check after storage throttling.
- Include a fake payment example showing saved-step replay across long pauses and API idempotency-key expiry.
Early release: no production HA or tenant isolation; external effects must be idempotent. Storage timeouts can stop a worker before its lease expires. Keep engine and SDK versions matched. The 0.6.0 storage layout is incompatible; use fresh state.
DEOOS 0.7.0 alpha 3
DEOOS is durable execution on object storage.
Platforms: macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Linux (x86_64 and arm64, glibc 2.28+), and Windows x86_64.
- Bounded storage pressure, with separate capacity for lease renewals.
- Default execution prefix is now
deoos. - Server binary is now
deoos-server. - The 0.6.0 storage layout is incompatible; start with fresh state.
Alpha: no production HA guarantee; destinations must enforce idempotency.
DEOOS 0.7.0 alpha 2
Durable execution on object storage.
Updates Apache-2.0 licensing, package metadata and wording. Includes a short README, runnable examples, both SDKs, the server and checksums. Engine and SDK versions remain 0.7.0; execution behavior is unchanged from alpha.1.
Mac Apple Silicon only. Other platforms coming. Python and TypeScript packages were tested in library and server modes against local APFS and RustFS.
Keep matching engine/SDK packages together. External effects require destination idempotency; no production HA guarantee.
DEOOS 0.7.0 alpha 1
Durable execution on object storage.
Adds a small default task view, separate history, and explicit internal inspection in the UI, CLI and Python/TypeScript SDKs. Removes redundant execution state and legacy storage compatibility.
Mac Apple Silicon package, tested in library and server modes against local APFS and RustFS. This is an older alpha; use the latest release for current packages.
Use a fresh state directory or execution prefix for changed storage layouts. No automatic migration or production HA guarantee.
DEOOS 0.6.0 alpha 1
Durable execution on object storage.
Python and TypeScript SDKs with a Rust engine, in library mode or server mode. Includes steps, retries, child workflows, timers, signals, cancellation and interval schedules.
Packages are available for Mac Apple Silicon, Mac Intel, Linux ARM64/x86_64 and Windows x86_64. Both SDKs and modes were tested against real S3 on their target architectures. Linux packages require glibc 2.28+.
These are older 0.6.0 packages. Use the latest release for current APIs and storage layout. External effects require destination idempotency; no production HA guarantee.
