Highlights
- Tables end at their last row. Text typed straight under a table is now body text instead of extra rows of the grid, in the editor, in print and PDF, and in HTML export. The text in your file is not changed.
- Typing no longer moves the view. The view used to dip a line and come back on a keystroke; it now stays still while you type.
Different from GitHub
Under a table whose rows start with a pipe, a line with no leading pipe (for example x | y, or a pipeless row of a one-column table) is text here, where GitHub reads it as a row. Tables written without outer pipes (a | b over --- | ---) are unchanged: any line with an unescaped pipe is still a row.
