  • macOS: brew install dev-centr/tap/envsafe, or run the .pkg (installs to /usr/local/bin). The .pkg and binaries are not signed or notarized; on first open, right-click the .pkg and choose Open.
  • Debian/Ubuntu: sudo apt install ./envsafe_<version>_<arch>.deb
  • Fedora/RHEL: sudo dnf install ./envsafe-<version>-1.<arch>.rpm
  • Windows: run the .msi (adds envsafe to PATH; open a new terminal afterwards). The MSI is not code-signed.
  • Packagers: the .tar.gz / .zip archives hold the bare binary; SHA256SUMS.txt covers every asset.
