MWNet 1.0.0 is the Linux x86_64 stable client/server release, built from a6868387dc80dcafd9b8ebad3d8c708511d9a615 and using gameplay protocol 13. It provides encrypted multiplayer transport, server identity confirmation, HTTPS public discovery, and the tested reconnect, combat, spell-effect and respawn behavior developed during the alpha/beta cycle.
Download MWNet-1.0.0-Linux-x86_64-client-server-a6868387dc.tar.gz and verify it with SHA256SUMS. Follow the included RELEASE.txt, launch scripts and dependency instructions. This build uses the Ubuntu 24.04 system-library environment; shared libraries are supplied by your compatible Linux distribution and listed in runtime-dependencies.txt. You need your own legally acquired Morrowind game data. First-use fingerprint confirmation remains required; direct connect and saved trust remain available.
The exact stable package passed seven native suites, fourteen real-client automation-boundary cases, and ten unattended rendered gameplay cases with 130 positive assertions. The rendered checks cover character creation, movement/doors/inventory, fresh reconnect, incoming damage, fist combat, death/respawn cleanup, two-client synchronization and identity/content/control rejection. All 463 package payload hashes and sixteen notice inputs were verified. Compiler-input review covered 1,216 selected objects, 22 archives and 2,688 repository inputs. Stable candidate evidence.
The completed beta eight-hour component profile exercised sixteen synthetic peers, 75 ms simulated latency, 2% loss, fifteen directory outages and 14,141 churn cycles, with zero final expiry counters, accepted memory/resource assessments and graceful exited-zero/no-OOM cleanup. That original receipt retains its beta source and binary hashes. Its reuse for 1.0.0 is supported by the verified version/packaging-only transition: the only changed production source input is the version string, the only changed generated compiler input is Git commit metadata, and vendor/system-header inputs are byte-identical. Stable native/package/rendered results have their own new receipts. Original sustained evidence.
The release supplies the Linux client/server archive, exact runtime repository source archive, SPDX SBOM and checksums. OpenMW/TES3MP attribution, inherited license terms, compiled-component notices, pinned fetched-source references and build instructions are preserved. All 4,806 source Git blobs were verified; the Breakpad gitlink is excluded by git archive, and Breakpad is disabled in this build. The documented maintainer-authorized AI review retains its stated security/licensing scope and limitations.
Support is limited to the recorded Linux x86_64 scope. Windows/macOS releases remain experimental and are excluded here while graphical validation and notice/source duties remain open. The synthetic workload does not establish populated sixteen-player gameplay capacity; physical audio playback and broader content/hardware combinations are outside the rendered acceptance. The NUC's earlier freeze cause remains unestablished, and crash logging remains enabled after reversible mitigation. Game assets, private server state, accounts, passwords and private identity keys are not included.
The tested stable runtime was deployed to the NUC at 13:50:32 UTC on November 5, 2026. Isolated startup, quiescent private-state backups, matching effective server/directory and 48 managed code files, preserved identity and two signed stable heartbeats passed. Independent trusted-HTTPS/signature verification from the maintainer PC also passed. Actual deployment evidence. Both the frozen runtime CI and separately frozen deployment-tooling CI passed all eleven jobs each. Actual CI results.
