Release Whiteboard 0.5.1 – share whiteboard as links, animations · devdotfast/whiteboard

You can now generate a share link and send it to friends/coworkers without whiteboard installed and they can view the board in browser with the diagrams/code snippets inlined. (example here https://app.dev.fast/s/muUnZAKnPGuZCGb1U0a1Zw_tvoD7qsBwwxx97R3OfYk )
From the share link you can still pull the document down to whiteboard if you want a live, lsp backed experience.
Sharing is faster now too!
Sharing requires sign in and does upload data to our servers (details in our docs)
We dont support uploading images yet. Let us know if you need it!
shares are snapshots of whiteboards so if you modify it you will have to reshare, changes to this are also coming soon.

Your agent can draw animations on a whiteboard in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. They run in a sandboxed iframe.
Animations match the whiteboard’s theme because they use the whiteboard’s own CSS classes and variables.
Animations can link to code. Click part of the drawing to open the code it explains beside the whiteboard, or show a code range inside the animation itself.

It’s pretty freeform right now, so we’ll keep working to add guidance/skills to make animations more consistently epic.

Experimental support for statically exporting a whiteboard to a file (diffable json under the hood!). We also register as a file opener to the os so you can double click a .whiteboard file to open it.
