DevStream: repos ranked by the developers who like them

DevStream is a live, ranked list of GitHub repos. You submit a repo, a bot checks it, developers Like it, and the list sorts itself. Every week the bot looks again, so a repo that has gone quiet doesn't sit at the top for years on the strength of one good summer.

These pages are the full rules. The site has the short version.

Using the site

The leaderboard has three tabs:

Tab What you see
Top Every listed repo, ordered by Likes.
Trending The repos that picked up the most Likes over the past week.
New The most recently added repos first.

Pick a category in the sidebar to see one of the 13 lists, or filter by language. Click a column header to sort by Likes, stars or last commit. The Like button on each row opens that repo's Discussion, where a 👍 on the post is your Like.

Repos that have gone quiet live on the archive page. They keep their Likes and come back on their own once they're active again.

Help and the project

  • FAQ: the questions people ask most.
  • Contributing: working on the code, and how the bots fit together.
  • Security: reporting a vulnerability privately.
  • Roadmap: the three milestones.
