v2.1.2
Failed R model runs report the actual error instead of trailing R warnings.
What changed
- The stderr tail in ModelRunFailedError (shown on the failed job, in chap-core's worker log and in chapkit test's [FAILED] lines) no longer ends with R's deferred warning block. R prints "In addition: Warning message(s):" and "Execution halted" after the error, so with the old last-5-lines tail an R model that failed with, for example, an INLA "Permission denied" only showed harmless poly2nb warnings. The trailing warning block and "Execution halted" are now dropped before taking the tail, unless a later R error follows them (such as a fatal error after one caught by try()). (#118, CLIM-1172)
- The tail keeps up to 10 lines instead of 5, enough for an R error together with its Calls: line.
Upgrading
No changes required. Model images need to be rebuilt on chapkit 2.1.2 to get the new messages.
