Public Document Review 0.1.1
digicyfr-public-document-review 0.1.1 release notes
Free GPL-2.0-or-later release for manual WordPress ZIP installation. Source: https://github.com/digicyfr/digicyfr-public-document-review. The protected release/0.1.1 branch and v0.1.1 tag record the reviewed source. Install the attached ZIP, not GitHub's source archive, and check its SHA-256 sidecar.
Fix since 0.1.0
Matched-report Open source links now have an underline. The attached v0.1.0 ZIP relied on color alone; axe-core marked that plugin-owned link as a serious link-in-text-block violation. The v0.1.0 tag, branch and ZIP remain unchanged. The new version includes the corrected stylesheet.
Included and tested scope
The plugin scans saved public PDF links in bounded manual batches, conservatively matches Media Library attachments, keeps private review state, and exports a guarded complete-snapshot CSV. It detects same-second source edits. WordPress 7.1, PHP 8.3.33 and MariaDB 11.4.13/InnoDB are the tested stack. The exact ZIP passes syntax, WordPress integration and browser checks. See docs/QA-0.1.1.md for this fix's browser evidence and docs/QA-0.1.0.md for the wider workflow.
Limits
The plugin does not read PDFs, verify downloads or legal validity, or inspect rendered/dynamic page output. A manual screen-reader pass, a representative PDF/offloaded-storage host, multisite and production content patterns remain untested. Some native-control contrast checks are inconclusive in automated tooling. The unique Update URI prevents a directory slug collision but does not provide automatic updates. WordPress.org distribution would require a separate review.
0.1.0 release candidate
Superseded: Use the stable v0.1.1 release. This v0.1.0 ZIP retains the report-link issue documented below.
Pre-release: Manual accessibility and environment checks listed below are still open. This is a self-hosted release candidate.
digicyfr-public-document-review 0.1.0 release notes
This is the first free GPL-2.0-or-later release for manual ZIP installation. Source: https://github.com/digicyfr/digicyfr-public-document-review. The release/0.1.0 branch records the reviewed version. The branch alone is source code; use the attached digicyfr-public-document-review-0.1.0.zip and verify its .sha256 sidecar before installation.
Included
Bounded manual scan of saved public PDF links, conservative Media Library matching, private attachment review state, guarded complete-snapshot CSV, and same-second source-edit detection.
Verification and compatibility
WordPress 7.1, PHP 8.3.33 and MariaDB 11.4.13/InnoDB. The exact GitHub prerelease ZIP passed install, integration fixtures including failure cases, and a post-tag Chromium admin flow: complete scan, matched PDF, uncertain external link, owner/date save, CSV, 390px view, same-second stale-source detection and rescan. PHP/JS syntax and WPCS passed. Plugin Check ran on an earlier runtime-identical ZIP and reported only the documented self-host distribution findings.
Limits and follow-up checks
A manual screen-reader pass, a representative PDF/offloaded-storage check on the intended host, multisite behavior, and production content patterns remain untested. It does not read PDFs, test downloads, certify document validity, or inspect rendered/dynamic page output. Two InnoDB tables are required.
The Update URI protects this self-hosted plugin from an unrelated WordPress.org plugin with the same slug. It does not provide automatic updates. WordPress.org submission would need a separate review and distribution-specific changes. See QA record and post-tag browser evidence for the detailed local evidence.
Accessibility audit finding (2026-11-05)
The attached v0.1.0 ZIP has one serious automated accessibility issue in the matched PDF report: the Open source link depends on color to distinguish it from surrounding text. An underline fix is committed on main and passed a targeted axe-core recheck, but the attached ZIP and v0.1.0 tag remain unchanged. The corrected, validated ZIP is available in v0.1.1. The uncertain-link view had no definite axe violations; some native-control contrast checks were inconclusive. See the QA record on main for exact-ZIP results and screenshots. This release remains a prerelease.
