Voxel Desktop 0.2.0
Voxel Desktop is the Voxel webmail as a desktop app for Windows and Linux. It works with any JMAP server, without CORS, and with any IMAP/SMTP mailbox. Its server part runs inside the app, so Node is not needed and the app opens no network port.
Download the setup.exe installer below and run it. It installs Voxel for the current user. Windows may say the publisher is unknown, because the installer is not signed yet. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
On Linux, make the .AppImage executable and open it, or install the .deb or .rpm package.
Once installed, Voxel updates itself: when a new version is out, it offers to install it and restart.
Linux needs WebKitGTK 4.1 (Ubuntu 22.04, Debian 12, Fedora 38 or later) and a Secret Service, such as GNOME Keyring or KWallet, to keep the device key.
The .sha256 file next to each file holds its SHA-256 checksum.
