Release v1.0.0 - Native Dock, a modern dock for Windows 11.
Native Dock - Modern Dock for Windows 11
The first public release. One file, no installer.
Install
- Download
NativeDock.exebelow. - Install the .NET 8 Desktop Runtime (x64) if you don't already have it.
- Run it. The dock picks up the apps already pinned to your taskbar.
Windows may warn about an unrecognized app, since the exe isn't code-signed. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
In this release
- Magnifying dock with your pinned and running apps, drag to reorder.
- A rebuilt system tray: input language, network, sound, settings, hidden icons, and a clock, with panels drawn to match the dock.
- Sound and settings open the real Windows quick settings pane, parked above the dock instead of in the corner.
- Optional auto-hide: the dock slides away and returns when you point at the bottom edge.
- Gets out of the way for full-screen apps and games, including borderless windowed ones.
- Optionally hides the Windows taskbar, and puts it back when you quit.
- Live appearance controls for icon size, magnification, corner radius, and bottom gap, plus light and dark themes.
Runs on Windows 11 x64, on your primary display. To quit, open Settings from the dock and choose Quit NativeDock.
