Overview

v33.0.0 makes Herdr and HWT the exclusive terminal workspace and worktree workflow, completes the OpenCode V2 migration, and adds richer navigation and code-review tools.

Notable Changes

• Herdr and Vellum: Browse GitHub PRs with review/check previews and actions for HWT checkout, review, auto-merge, and closing PRs. New visible-file and URL pickers can open or copy references, and paste file paths into the active pane.
• Code review: Herdr’s command palette can review working-tree or branch changes using Hunk, tuicr, or Neovim CodeDiff. CodeDiff is available at <leader>gD; Git’s default pager changes from Delta to hunk pager.
• HWT: OpenCode is the default agent, with Linear ticket creation/search commands and a worktree URL palette. On PDQ repositories, interactive worktree removal can offer to mark the associated ticket Done.
• Coding agents: Shared inline shell commands now work across OpenCode, Claude Code, Codex, and Pi. OpenCode’s Vim editing gains visual-line selection, clipboard operations, and native undo/redo. Pi separates synced MCP servers from machine-local configuration.
• Neovim: SQL buffers gain <leader>dq to send queries or selections to a nearby Herdr psql pane.
• Tooling: Git hooks and checks move from Lefthook to hk; Betterleaks replaces Gitleaks and augments agent credential redaction. The macOS sudo-authentication task adds Apple Watch support alongside Touch ID.

Breaking Changes And Migration

• Tmux, workmux, and sesh are removed, including their configs, helper scripts, tasks, and editor integrations. Use Herdr/HWT instead; old Vimux runner mappings are also gone.
• Ghostty shortcuts change: Cmd+K opens the Herdr agent navigator; Cmd+Shift+F opens visible files instead of forking a repository. Cmd+G opens the PR palette, and Cmd+U opens visible URLs.
• OpenCode V2: Use opencode, not the removed opencode2 wrapper. Move machine-local MCP overlays to ~/.opencode/opencode.jsonc, remove the old OPENCODE_CONFIG export, and restart the service. This overlay applies to projects beneath your home directory. An optional scripts/import-opencode-sessions.sh migrates older sessions, defaults to a dry run, and backs up databases when applying.
• Raycast: Replace the parent script-directory registration with raycast/scripts/shared plus the applicable pdq or personal directory.
• Run task sync to update tools, links, and agent hooks. Start fresh Claude/Pi sessions afterward and trust the Codex hook through /hooks. Inline shell syntax executes without per-command approval, so only submit commands you intend to run.
