@donoteatme donoteatme released this 30 Oct 07:27

Local Link 1.2.5 — DSH 0.2.1-rc.5 compatibility

  • Added exact Host compatibility for DeepSeek Harness 0.2.1-rc.5 and refreshed development contracts and the lockfile. Previously declared releases remain supported on the basis of their historical checks.
  • Revalidated the connection UI with the new native sidebar, conversation-view and right-sidebar More menus. No runtime-code changes or new runtime dependencies were needed.
  • Clarified one-use QR behavior in English, Russian and Simplified Chinese: successful pairing closes the QR panel; another browser or device needs a fresh invitation.
  • Replaced all 14 README screenshots with approved real-browser dark-theme captures on rc.5: mobile chat, navigation, current session and native subagents, plus desktop QR, paired devices and diagnostics. English and Simplified Chinese have separate fictional demo data; Russian documentation shares the English images. Original image bytes and dimensions are preserved.

Validation

117 tests across 18 files, typecheck, build, package checks and production dependency audit passed. Browser QA covered EN/ZH at five viewport sizes and selected-chat QR entry, drawers and native subagents. The complete connection lifecycle was repeated three times per locale, including all three new More menus, clipboard actions, invitation replacement, device rename/revoke and diagnostics.

Installation from the real npm archive, authenticated WebSocket access and immediate socket closure on revoke were also verified. Remote Host administration remains blocked. Trusted-LAN scope is unchanged; this release does not add HTTPS or voice support.

Physical-phone acceptance and the full historical Host matrix were not rerun. Trusted-LAN scope and runtime behavior are unchanged.

Local Link 1.2.4 — DSH 0.2.1-rc.2 support

@donoteatme donoteatme released this 19 Oct 12:27

DeepSeek Harness 0.2.1-rc.2 support

  • Updated Host compatibility metadata and exact development contracts for DSH 0.2.1-rc.2, retaining previously declared releases.
  • Fixed the QR panel's Paired devices shortcut on current Hosts; it now opens native Settings instead of session statistics, with localized navigation and an older-Host fallback.
  • Restored session-scoped QR identity and mobile autofocus suppression after chat navigation.
  • Hid duplicate native activity/usage/statistics pills under the mobile composer; desktop statistics remain unchanged.
  • Refreshed all 14 real-browser dark-theme screenshots with fictional data: separate English and Simplified Chinese captures. Updated English, Russian and Chinese documentation.

Validation and scope

117 tests across 18 files, typecheck, build, production dependency audit and package checks passed. Browser QA covered EN/ZH at five viewport sizes, plus the Settings shortcut with expanded/collapsed sidebars. The packed plugin was installed into a clean profile and checked for pairing, authenticated WebSocket access, immediate revoke closure and blocked directory-picker RPCs.

Trusted-LAN scope is unchanged. Physical-phone acceptance, voice input and the full historical Host matrix were not rerun for this release.

dsh-local-link 1.2.3

@donoteatme donoteatme released this 02 Oct 16:54

Local Link 1.2.3

Compatibility update for DeepSeek Harness 0.2.0-rc.2, with refreshed real-browser documentation screenshots and mobile session-detail fixes. Local Link remains trusted-private-LAN-only: no tunnels, public relays, or expanded native desktop access.

Changes

  • Added the exact 0.2.0-rc.2 Host to engines.dsh and the matching optional Host peer range; rebuilt against its contracts.
  • Blocked all three native directoryPicker RPCs at the LAN gateway after the Host API rename.
  • Fixed recorded permission and missing-preset labels in mobile session details, and preserved the open drawer's session identity on model updates.
  • Replaced README screenshots with 14 dark-theme captures from actual browser sessions: seven English and seven Simplified Chinese. Russian README shares the English images. All demo data is fictional; mobile screenshots are consistently 430×932 and show the native Harness subagent catalog.

Verification

  • Type checking, all 105 tests, production build, npm package dry-run, and production dependency audit passed.
  • Live 0.2.0-rc.2 pairing, browser handoff, authenticated WebSocket access, revoke-driven socket closure, and rejection of native directory RPCs were checked.
  • Browser checks covered 320, 360, 390, 430, and 834 CSS pixels, plus desktop. Physical-phone acceptance was confirmed by the user.
  • Native subagent-list expansion and opening a child session in the right panel were verified. This screenshot check did not execute new model tasks.
  • Historical declared RC versions were retained; the complete historical matrix was not rerun for this patch.

Update

Update dsh-local-link to 1.2.3 in your existing Harness Web profile, then restart that profile when convenient. This release does not require restarting your model server.

dsh-local-link 1.2.2

Choose a tag to compare

@donoteatme donoteatme released this 27 Sep 19:55

Local Link 1.2.2

This release adds tested support for DeepSeek Harness 0.1.7-rc.2 while keeping the plugin's trusted-private-LAN scope unchanged. Local Link still uses the stock Harness Web client, sessions, permissions, and plugin surfaces; it does not introduce a relay or a second chat client.

What changed

  • Updated the development contracts to the exact 0.1.7-rc.2 packages and removed nine development-only packages no longer used by that Host graph.
  • Adapted mobile icons to the new weight-named exports, with a fallback for the older supported RCs.
  • Fixed Current session to follow the session selected in the header. On 0.1.7, Harness's native subagent header action replaces Local Link's older catalog sheet.
  • Hid the duplicate context meter below the chat and the Host-app opener on mobile. The context breakdown remains in Current session; both stock controls remain on desktop.

Compatibility and validation

engines.dsh lists the exact supported Host releases. The 0.1.7 gateway path was exercised with one-use LAN pairing, native browser authentication, authenticated HTTP and /api/remote.mux WebSocket traffic, immediate socket closure on revoke, and rejection after revoke. Older RCs remain declared from prior release checks; this patch did not rerun every historical Host.

The frozen lockfile installs cleanly. TypeScript checking, all 103 tests, production build, npm package/publish dry-runs, and the production dependency audit passed. Live browser checks at 320, 360, 390, 430, and 834 CSS px found no horizontal overflow; the mobile-only controls behave as documented, and the desktop controls remain visible. Physical-phone acceptance and the full manual plugin-surface checklist remain separate checks.

The README mobile screenshots use synthetic data from Harness 0.1.5-rc.2 and are labeled accordingly; the native 0.1.7 subagent UI differs from the pictured older sheet.

  • Removed the misleading remote Open in app action and preserved native message actions on narrow screens.
  • Added a complete Simplified Chinese README with an English/Chinese switch.
  • Replaced the mobile documentation images with real dark-theme browser captures from an isolated Harness profile containing synthetic data only.

Validation

  • TypeScript check and production build passed.
