How can I return a non-zero exit code with the HostingPlayground code sample?

Changing void to int here, and returning 1, still logs the following:

C:\Source\command-line-api\artifacts\bin\HostingPlayground\Debug\net5.0\HostingPlayground.exe (process 28424) exited with code 0.

Try using InvocationContext in your handler to set the exit code (as per section "The new command handler API" in the 2.0 Beta 2 announcement).

Something like this perhaps (beware, untested code!):

Same with PowerShell:

This happens even if I throw throw new InvalidOperationException("TEST"); right in the handler.

Task Main(...) needed to be Task<int> Main(...).

Now simply returning a number from the handler works as expected.
