Otto v0.9.12

0.9.12 - 2026-09-16

Added

• Explain, contest, research, or complete text you select in a chat transcript
• Turn Autonomous mode on or off for a single chat from the message box
• Choose how many prompt suggestions Otto follows in a row

Changed

• Follow prompt suggestions now sets the default for new chats instead of switching every chat at once
• Refresh the agent catalog to the latest published versions
• Update bundled dependencies to clear known security advisories

Fixed

• Update the workspace change counts after you commit
• Show per-file line counts in Changes instead of hiding a long branch behind a too-large notice
• Restore the short message box placeholder when the composer runs out of room
• Keep the suggested task card's toggle icons from shrinking
• Include the macOS desktop builds in the release downloads
