What's New

  • Pair this desktop with a host on another computer over HTTPS, without SSH. In Settings > Connections, paste a pairing link or enter the host's address and pairing code, then confirm the desktop in the host's Remote access settings.
  • Remote hosts can have several SSH and HTTPS routes, tried in order until one connects. Dream switches to a fallback route when the preferred one is unavailable and keeps forwarded ports stable.
  • Cloudflare Tunnel is now a remote access option alongside Tailscale Serve, using a cloudflared connector that Dream manages or one you run yourself. The manual reverse proxy mode has been removed.
  • One Open folder dialog opens projects on this computer or any SSH host, with folder completion as you type the path. SSH hosts can be added from the dialog, with aliases suggested from ~/.ssh/config.
  • When the host is installed as a service, the desktop app attaches to it, so chats and terminals keep running after the app closes and terminals are restored when it reopens.
  • Service hosts install verified runtime updates and recover to the previous runtime if an update is interrupted.

Fixes and Improvements

  • Remote access settings are set up through a new setup dialog, with clearer guidance when Tailscale or Cloudflare needs attention and an optional choice of local port.
  • SSH hosts and Remote access share one Connections section in Settings.
  • Stop ends the running turn, while Pause holds queued messages and lets the current turn finish. Sending a new message resumes a paused queue and dismisses failed or interrupted runs.
  • Interrupted chat streams reconnect automatically.
  • A commit message is generated when a project's last running agent turn ends.
  • The Git and Files panels refresh after terminal commands finish and when you return to the window.
  • Recent projects show their location and can be searched by it.
  • Double-click the right panel's resize handle to give it an equal share of the width. Browser and terminal panel headers are taller.
