Akashic is a searchable reference library of DIY guitar-pedal circuits. It is built from the build documents that PCB vendors publish, plus schematic-only sources: blogs, a schematic archive, layout sites and fab project pages. For every circuit it records what it is based on, the vendor and price with a buy link, the build document, controls and enclosure, and a parsed parts list with normalized values. Because every source lands in one database, it can answer questions no vendor site can: every Rat derivative, every circuit that uses an LM308, every three-knob 125B board.

This wiki is for contributors: people who want to report an error, run the scraper, fix a parse, add a vendor or understand how the data is made.
| Page | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Reporting errors | Wrong parts lists, missing vendors and site bugs; how hand fixes land |
| Getting started | Prerequisites, setup, a first scrape, export, running the app locally |
| How the data is made | The pipeline from vendor page to static site; parsers, provenance, delisting, what is and isn't published, leaving Akashic |
| Adding a vendor | The adapter interface and the registration checklist |
| Fixing a parse | Re-run from cache, compare stats, read the audit, write a correction |
| Releasing | The weekly refresh, deploys, the changelog and Dependabot |
| The graph | The graphify graph of the library and the akashic-graph MCP server |
scraper/ Python package `pcblib`: vendor adapters, document parsers, SQLite, JSON export
app/ SvelteKit static PWA (Svelte 5, adapter-static, every page prerendered)
data/ library.sqlite, raw/ and cache/ (git-ignored); archive/ (committed)
