RedisFront 2026.1 Released

Highlights

🔐 SSL certificate verification, compatible with Amazon ElastiCache New verification modes (Default verify / Trust all / Verify CA only), persisted with each connection; existing connections without the field fall back to Default verify. Certificates are now detected by content: PEM certificate bundles (such as Amazon CA packs) are parsed directly via the netty trustManager, while JKS / PKCS12 still go through the original truststore path — existing connections are unaffected. Cluster clients inherit the same behavior from the seed URI. (issue #1)

🗂 Enhanced connection management Connections support drag-and-drop regrouping and per-connection default databases. Connection configurations can be imported/exported as JSON to share with your team, or migrated from RDM configuration. Adds alternate Sentinel entry points, SSH / Cluster connection restore, and per-connection read-only settings.

👁 Eight encoding views in the value editor New encoding switching: AUTO (strict UTF-8 validation with automatic escaping of invalid bytes), UTF-8 / GBK / GB18030 / Latin-1 (read/write both ways), Escaped (read-only inspection), and Base64 / Hex (decoded back to raw bytes on save) — all writable except Escaped. Also fixes Unicode display on Windows. The editor adds copy, JSON formatting, and auto-wrap tools, along with before/after change comparison, large-value preview, and unsaved-changes protection.

📈 Monitoring and terminal The monitoring page adds a node-level view and replication cluster status, with corrected chart sampling. Status-bar monitoring is merged into a single INFO collection, and background tabs no longer poll. The terminal expands the Redis command list and adds view type switching.

Bug Fixes

SQLite configuration database recreated tables on every startup: bypasses the framework's JDBC URL semicolon defect; historical database files are migrated automatically once on startup
Key tree batch delete: now a single confirmation with a single progress dialog; on failure only the successfully deleted nodes are removed, and selection listeners are suppressed during node pruning
SSH tunnel and cluster: fixes port leaks from duplicate tunnels, key-mismatch NPEs in the cluster info panel, and connection pool residue
Connection pool: only the corresponding pool is recycled on borrow/return failure; fixes connection leaks caused by a return race condition
Data safety: fixes NPEs when Stream body / redis_mode is null; ensures safe edit-save, TTL, and rename operations; backfills auto-increment primary keys for new connections and groups
Other: SSH certificate connections failing after packaging
