Beaming 0.3.0+5
- A refreshed welcome guide: the phones now show real apps that move, a photo library you can see swiping and a chat that keeps going, just as they look in Beaming.
- The welcome guide shows each phone in its own Beaming window, with its name and tools above it.
- The Hub page of the guide now looks like the real Hub, with each device's name, its tools, and the one in focus highlighted.
Beaming 0.2.2+4
- No more stray blue outlines around buttons and backgrounds when a window opens, for those who use keyboard navigation.
- Focus mode shows the device name once in its top bar instead of twice.
Beaming 0.2.1+3
- Fixed: iPhones and iPads connected by cable now mirror again. Beaming 0.2.0 kept showing "Allow Camera access" even after Camera was switched on in System Settings. If it still asks after updating, switch Beaming off and on again under Privacy & Security › Camera.
- The installer window shows where to drag Beaming to install it.
Beaming 0.2.0+2
- Beaming Free and Beaming Pro: Free mirrors with a watermark for 10 minutes at a time; Pro removes the limits and unlocks the capture editor. Buy or enter a license from Activate Pro in the main window.
- Connect Wirelessly is easier: pair an Android phone with a QR code, a pairing code or its IP address, or switch a USB phone to Wi-Fi, and nearby phones are found more reliably.
- iPhone mirroring over AirPlay works with iOS 27, and a phone that starts mirroring opens its own window.
- A phone that stops mirroring without saying goodbye (Airplane Mode, left Wi-Fi) is let go within about 10 seconds instead of 2 minutes.
- Devices you have used before stay on the Devices page while they are away, so you can see them at a glance. Right-click one to forget it.
- Plugging in a device opens its window even when the main window is closed.
- Unplugging a device closes its window.
- iPhone Duo appears in its real shape, folded or open, with a fold animation, and big devices turn without getting cut off.
- Report an Issue (in the Help menu and on the About page) opens an email with your Mac and app versions filled in.
