Firn, made for the Mac.
Firn is now a native Mac app, built from scratch. It's quicker and lighter, and it feels at home on your Mac. Each space is now its own browser, with its own sign-ins, so Work and Personal never mix.
A fresh start. Your tabs, spaces, and passwords from the earlier Firn don't come over to this one. They stay on your Mac, untouched.
New
- Every space is truly separate. Each space has its own Basecamp, tabs, sign-ins, cookies, and history. Signing in to Gmail in Work doesn't sign you in to Personal. When you make a space, you can choose to share sign-ins with another one instead.
- Groups keep the tabs you want to hold on to. Drag one tab onto another to start a group.
- Tidied away. Tabs you haven't looked at for a while drift into a small box at the bottom of the sidebar, so you can see where they went and bring them back.
- Lookout, split view, and the command bar. Glance at a link before you keep it, put two pages side by side, and press ⌘T to type an address, search, or jump to a tab.
- Saved passwords, kept in your Mac's Keychain. Bring yours over from another browser or password manager.
- Coming from Arc? Firn can bring over your spaces, favorites, and pinned tabs.
- Ads and trackers are blocked on every page, and you can turn it off for a site that doesn't work.
- Firn keeps itself up to date. It checks for new versions, and you can turn that off in Settings.
