Embody externalizes TouchDesigner COMPs and DATs to diffable files and restores them on open. Envoy is the MCP server inside it that lets an AI assistant build, wire and inspect live networks. Externalize Full Project keeps Embody and TouchDesigner's own COMPs out of your files.

  • Embody stays out of your files (#176). Externalize Full Project, the tagger and hand-typed tags no longer tag Embody, /perform, /ui, /sys or the root. The COMP holding Embody is always TDXN, so its .tdxn keeps your loose operators and wiring, without Embody inside.
  • Cleanup for older projects. After the update, a project over-tagged by 6.2.75 or earlier untracks TouchDesigner's COMPs, switches a TOX container to TDXN, and asks before deleting the copies of Embody's own code.
  • Reopen without saving. A project saved before its first externalization reopens with its tracking intact and rebuilds COMPs built after that save.

  • Fixes. A lost Envoy port race reads as port-in-use; stale cook errors no longer show as reconstruction errors; empty-folder cleanup works again; the Collection's properties panel shows every parameter. +58 tests.
