RelayPact v0.3.8 adds evidence-bound retirement for settled Cursor reviews whose Git controls gained narrowly approved checkpoint data.
Fixed
- Add optional
--checkpoint-evidence <private-json>to explicitdecide-cursor --action abandon --retire-stale-review. - Prove exact auxiliary-ref and reachable loose-object additions against a complete signed control baseline, preserving original reviews, workspace files and Git data.
- Preserve original and observed evidence in a non-accepting archive. Signature, task identity, settlement, lease, concurrency and cleanup/retry checks remain mandatory.
- Validate ref conflicts, object contents, commit headers, tree ordering and stored object types without replacement-ref substitution.
Compatibility and limits
- Legacy tasks without the complete signed baseline remain blocked. Upgrading does not migrate or unlock old task evidence.
- Default stale decisions and filesystem-only retirement retain their existing safety gates. Stale acceptance and correction remain refused.
- Proof limits include 4096 added objects and 8192 cumulative queue entries. The 30-second proof deadline is cooperative, not a hard wall-clock guarantee for the entire decision.
- Codex remains the admitted Host. Codex-to-Codex remains public-preview; Pi, Cursor, WorkBuddy and WorkBuddy AI remain experimental and explicitly selected. No additional platform or live-executor qualification is claimed.
- No npm publication or automatic local plugin upgrade is included.
Validation
616 deterministic tests passed, with zero failures/skips on the validation host. Boundary coverage includes exact object/queue thresholds, deadline refusal and termination of a stalled Git probe; three isolated mutations confirmed the negative tests detect erroneous admission. Architecture/package validation, package dry-run, isolated plugin discovery with Codex CLI 0.164.0 and a no-hardlink clean clone passed. Codex Review found no issues on the final preparation PR; postmerge Validate CI passed before publication.
