Fixed
- Beat-matched blends often came in with a hitch and stayed a touch out of step. The silent copy of the song
going out that takes over at the blend used to chase the one you hear and overshoot, and the next song was judged
(and jumped) on a position that wasn't real yet, so many blends began off and were heard as two kick drums. It
now gets in step with one or two measured jumps and a slight nudge over a longer run-up, the next song is jumped
into step once at most (after a stall once more), and a blend may start a bar late rather than out of step. - Drum and bass and other tracks read at half the tempo got blends twice as long as set. Tempos are now
counted the way a DJ counts, so 16 bars are 16 bars. - Tracks of a continuous mix ("(Mixed)", "DJ Mix", "Mixed by") were beat-matched over the mix already in them.
They're no longer beat-matched; into and out of one the blend is short, and within the mix the tracks run on. - A big change of tempo (more than 4 %) was heard for half a minute. Such blends are kept to 8 bars.
Added
- Bass swap in Settings › Playback › Crossfade and levelling › Beat-matched blends (on by default): over the
first half of a blend the old song's bass is taken away as the new song's comes in, as a DJ does with the EQ. - Take songs out of the queue. Swipe a song in the queue to the left (the swipe that adds a song, in
reverse, behind a red strip) or pick Remove from queue from its ⋮ menu. Remove songs up to here in that
menu clears everything before that song, so it comes next.
