Added

  • RuleSchema, a Pydantic v2 model with SQL-compatible declarations and normal Pydantic construction, validation, serialization, and FastAPI support.
  • from_pydantic() conversion with deterministic reports, explicit backend providers, safe scalar preparation, CompiledRules, and notwhere().
  • Plugin API v2, a published type and coercion support matrix, migration guidance, and coordinated 2.0.0 metadata for core and all dialect plugins.

Changed

  • Compilation now accepts SQLRules-compatible declarations and requires one explicit backend provider. Every supported scalar annotation is a rule.
  • Lax coercion, strict type checks, nullable behavior, and invalid-value handling follow the versioned 2.0 semantic profile. Retained rules cannot be omitted with warn/ignore settings.

Fixed

  • Make SQLite float preparation safe for values outside the finite range.
  • Preserve SQL Server JSON nested-array paths during structural comparisons.
  • Accept surrounding whitespace for supported text-to-integer conversions.
