AI Usage Tracker 0.8.1
Each Codex and Claude account now has its own plan, plan advice and share of plan value, and you can choose how often limits are read.
What's new
- A plan for each account. If you use more than one Codex or Claude account, choose each account's plan and price on the Limits page. An account without a choice takes the plan its limit readings name. Claude's readings do not tell Max 5x from Max 20x, or Team Standard from Team Premium, so such an account takes the plan you chose for Claude, or asks you to choose. A price you enter for an account applies to that account's plan only.
- Plan advice for each account. Tips gives each account its own plan recommendation, built on its own limit windows and plan. If one account keeps filling its limits while another has room, the page says so.
- Plan value adds up your plans. On the Overview, Plan value now counts each account with its own plan and price and adds the prices together. It lists each account's API-equivalent use next to its plan, and leaves out use on a free plan or at API rates. The Usage summary (PDF) does the same.
- Choose how often limits are read. Under Sources → Live capture, each limit read has a How often setting: Codex and Antigravity from every minute to every hour, Claude from every 5 minutes to every hour (Claude's usage service does not answer more often).
Fixes
- The menu bar number keeps one size. A one-digit percentage in the menu bar (and the Windows tray) is now as large as a two-digit one.
- Panel tiles no longer touch their edges. Wide tiles with a title and two bars, and the ring tiles, now keep even space above and below.
- Codex Team readings. Codex readings that name the plan "team" now count for Business / Team.
- A week read on two plans. If your plan changed in the middle of a weekly window, that window no longer counts as full for the new plan in the plan recommendation.
- Prices left from another plan. A free or API plan no longer takes a price you entered earlier for another plan.
Good to know
- With one account, nothing changes. The plan you chose for the provider applies as before.
- Unidentified use counts only toward the total. Plan value adds use that no evidence ties to an account to the total, not to any one account, so an account's own figure can look lower than it is.
- Max and Team accounts may ask for their plan. If the plan you chose for Claude is not a Max or Team plan, a Max or Team account shows Choose a plan on the Limits page until you pick one.
