Count the number of documents in a single index

How do I count the number of documents in a single index (the cluster has many indices).

Here's a copy of the little method we use. As a tip for newcomers to NEST I recommend downloading the project and looking at the unit and integration tests. There are great examples in there.

FYI Curl command looks something like this
