Routing method not available?

I am following the instruction here on routing. However, the Should method is not available. When I checked the Inferrer class it returns a string type for Routing. How can I call the "Should" method?

@vonbv The documentation you've linked to is generated from test code and should be updated to provide some better examples.

.Should() is part of FluentAssertions, a test library for fluently asserting expectations. What the documentation is showing is that when you have a Parent/Child relationship where the Parent POCO looks like

new MyParent {Id = 1337, MyJoinField = JoinField.Root<MyParent>()};

If you were to index this document

var settings = new ConnectionSettings(pool)
    .DefaultIndex(defaultIndex);

var client = new ElasticClient(settings);
var parent = new MyParent {Id = 1337, MyJoinField = JoinField.Root<MyParent>()};
var indexResponse = client.IndexDocument(parent);

the client will infer the routing value from the document, in this case "1337", which is the Id of the document. The index request would be

PUT http://localhost:9200/my_index/myparent/1337?routing=1337

  "myJoinField": "myparent"
}
