T3 Code Bar 2.0.0-alpha.1

The new Tauri-based menu bar app for macOS 14 or later, replacing the Swift app.

Install — Apple Silicon

Download T3-Code-Bar-2.0.0-alpha.1-darwin-aarch64.app.zip, unzip it, and move T3 Code Bar Tauri.app to Applications. Quit the old Swift app before starting this one. Generate a new pairing key in T3 Code and enter it in the Bar; Swift settings and tokens are not imported.

This app is ad hoc signed and not notarized by Apple. If macOS blocks it, try opening the app, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway and confirm. Only allow the app if you trust this repository. Managed Macs may restrict this option. Do not disable Gatekeeper.

Or install into ~/Applications:

curl -fsSL https://eliophan.github.io/t3code-bar/install.sh | bash

Homebrew

brew install --cask eliophan/tap/t3-code-bar

If Homebrew requests trust, run brew trust --cask eliophan/tap/t3-code-bar, then retry. The macOS Open Anyway instructions above still apply.

Features

  • Threads with project/provider icons, branches, timestamps and attention states.
  • Last-reply hover previews, enabled by default with a 500 ms delay.
  • Cost, Tokens and Limits charts and provider/model breakdowns.
  • Pairing and saved reconnect through macOS Keychain.
  • Persistent settings, native notifications and menu bar controls.

Scope

This is an alpha prerelease for Apple Silicon. Intel and Linux binaries are not included. Automatic updates are disabled in this build; install future versions manually. Checksums are attached for download-integrity checks, not Apple developer verification.
