0.16.1 — 2026-10-12 — approvals, checkpoints, and the side files

Release Notes

Two new affordance kinds, approval (asks, denials, the approval mode in force) and checkpoint
(restorable points, tallies, restores), and the side files 0.16.0 named as unread: Qwen schedules,
Cline schedule fires and team runs, OpenClaw cron and sub-agent registries, Kimi todos, Grok hook
runs; Claude --fork-session and Goose forks now name their source. Catalog counts carry a view
version, so has: recounts after an upgrade instead of answering from 0.16.0's counts: run
cv index once.

• New affordance kinds approval (asks, denials, the session's approval mode) and checkpoint (restorable points, restores) in show --kind and has:.
• Roo ui_messages.json checkpoints and permission asks, and Grok rewind_points.jsonl, are now read.
• Session JSON gains permission_modes and checkpoints in the harness bag (Claude, Codex, Kimi, Kimi Code, Qwen, Gemini saved chats).
• Devin edit results carry details.restorable, the files /revert can restore.
• Catalog affordance counts from 0.16.0 are recounted on the next full read, so has:approval / has:checkpoint never answer from stale counts.
• Side stores read: Qwen scheduled_tasks.json, OpenClaw cron and sub-agent registries, Cline schedule runs and teams.db, Kimi state.json todos, Grok hook runs.
• Catalog affordance counts are recounted once more, to include these side stores and forks.
• Claude --fork-session and Goose --fork sessions name their source in lineage.forked_from, inferred from the records the fork copied.
