The first download of OpenLucid: an early preview for Windows.

How to start

  1. Download OpenLucid-0.3.0-preview-windows-x64.zip below and unzip it.
  2. Open the OpenLucid folder and double-click openlucid.exe.
  3. Windows may say "Windows protected your PC" because the app isn't signed yet: click More info, then Run anyway.

Try it with Fake Moose (a simulated headband), or connect a Muse 2016, Muse 2 or Muse S over Bluetooth.

What it can do

  • Live brainwaves and a contact check per sensor
  • Eye check: can the headband see blinks and left-right eye movements?
  • Record a whole night: EEG plus accelerometer and gyroscope, saved locally as EDF+ in a BIDS-EEG folder (Documents/OpenLucid/nights), with movement and position changes marked
  • Nights screen with your recorded nights
