Mayor in office
The day after winning the election you will get a letter with the official result. Marlon will also send you a congratulation and the Mayor Suit Jacket. If you enter the town the event will begin and and the Governor will swear you in as the new Mayor of Pelican Town.
Lewis will move out of the manor house and move in with Marnie (along with his purple shorts). The manor house will be renovated back to being the town hall building. This process will take a day.
Once completed the town hall will have the following services:
- Ledger book - managing multiplayer money.
- Lost and found - recover lost items.
- Divorce book - You gotta marry them all.
- Deeds records - Used in (SVE) for adding Grandpa's farm.
- Mayor's desk - Allows you to plan council meetings.
The building also now allows you to personalize the walls and floors to whatever you like (if Joja blue isn't your thing 😛).
The basement is also cleared out and you can put whatever you want in there. The fridge needed for "The Mysterious Qi" quest is now moved to a mini fridge in the basement.
The pictures stuck to the wall on the right allow you to reset the mod if you no longer want to be mayor
Now that you're mayor you can enact some changes in Pelican town. This is done through the council meetings. The council meetings are chosen from the menu when you select the Mayor's desk. The first council meeting is an introduction meeting and after that you will be asked to decide on certain issues for the town.
The council meetings available are:
- Intro council meeting.
- Public safety and security issues.
- Saloon licensing.
- Tidy town initiative.
- Clean river initiative.
- Road infrastructure improvement.
- Strategic supply reserve.
Once a meeting is chosen it will take place the following Thursday
There are also other events that may happen while mayor but these are currently of a random nature when entering the Town Hall.
