Fixed — every report says how its grade was reached

  • The PDF report and the run comparison did not say it. 0.7.29 recorded,
for every reading, whether its letter came from fixed thresholds or from how
far the metric improved, and the dashboard and the Markdown report said
which. The PDF cover and the comparison table (Markdown and PDF) did not: a
run graded on how far its loss fell read there as if it had been graded on
a scale, and two runs graded the two different ways sat side by side with
letters that do not compare. Both now carry the sentence, in the reader's
    language, before the grade note.

Fixed — a changed thresholds file applies to the open run

  • The VS Code panel read .epochix.yaml once, when its run started, so a
file added or edited while a run was on screen applied from the next run
only. The panel now watches every folder the file is read from and, when it
appears, changes or goes away, reads the open run again from its start with
the new thresholds. (A run too long to keep in memory — over 32 MB of
output — says the change applies from the next run instead.)
  • EPOCHIX_GRADE_CONFIG can name a folder to look for the file from, as
well as the file itself or off. The extension starts its Python server in
a temporary folder and used to pass the path of the workspace's file — only
if there was one at start-up, so a file created later was never found. It
passes the workspace folder now, and each new run reads the file as it is.
