First public release of ClawSoul — a self-hosted AI companion with a simulated daily life.

What's in it

• A companion with a life — a generated daily schedule grounded in a real city, weather-aware outfits, moods that carry over from yesterday.
• Human texting — replies arrive as 1–3 short bubbles with typing rhythm, selective emoji reactions, a human pause before answering, and absence awareness when you've been gone.
• Memory that grows — long-term memory, an emotional graph, relationship stages that change how she talks, and a personal-date engine so she doesn't miss your birthday.
• Consistent identity in photos — a canonical face reference anchors every selfie.
• Runs anywhere, owns nothing of yours — SQLite + Markdown on your disk, your API keys, no account and no telemetry.

Run it

docker run -e CLAW_DEEPSEEK_API_KEY=sk-... -p 7788:7788 -v clawsoul:/data ghcr.io/ericwang915/clawsoul

Then open http://localhost:7788. Telegram is optional — add a bot token to get her on your phone.

Requires one text-LLM key; everything else (vision, selfies, voice transcription, web search) is optional and degrades gracefully.
