SessionTree 0.7.1 preview

Native Rust + React preview for Windows x64, Apple Silicon Mac, and Intel Mac. No Node.js or Rust installation is needed.

Install through Plugins → Add → Upload plugin archive, using the matching platform ZIP below; or Add plugin marketplace, using the platform Git ref in the README. Sparse paths are .agents/plugins and plugins/session-tree, one per line.

Open the tree from an existing conversation's right pane: New tab → More tools → Session Tree. The UI follows the client language.

This version removes filesystem watchers and background scans. Opening checks once; visible panels check the read-only SQLite data version at a low frequency and read only needed excerpts. Hidden panels send no polling requests.

All attached ZIPs are unchanged artifacts from the three-platform build and native startup verification at source commit 3edd5fd. SHA-256 files are attached. These automated checks do not establish macOS desktop import/rendering; that acceptance is still pending. No real account or model API was used during validation.

Keep a previous working ZIP before switching installation method. To roll back, uninstall the preview and import that ZIP. The stable Windows v0.5.8 release and marketplace branch remain available. Original conversations are read-only.

Install

Open Plugins in the client's left sidebar, then click Add in the upper-right corner.

• ZIP: download session-tree-0.5.8-windows-x64-plugin.zip below, choose Upload plugin archive, and select the ZIP without unpacking it.
• Marketplace: choose Add plugin marketplace; set Source to ether-zhang/SessionTree, Git ref to marketplace, and leave Sparse paths empty. Add the marketplace, then install SessionTree.

Choose one installation method. Open the tree from the conversation's right-hand pane: New tab → More tools → Session Tree.

The archive contains one plugin at its root and retains the stable 0.5.8 behavior. It does not include the reverted 0.5.9 sidebar experiment. The matching .sha256 file is supplied below.
