Rift Ready 0.12.22 — Smoother navigation and scrolling

Choose a tag to compare

@existntl existntl released this 09 Sep 07:01
  • Reduces window-drag and match-history scrolling work by retaining unchanged artwork, profile, summary and title-bar pixels. Scroll updates redraw the table instead of the entire dashboard.
  • Adds keyboard navigation and accessible statistics/actions to match history: arrows, Page Up/Down, Home/End and Enter/Space. Ctrl+F focuses match search.
  • Shows match search only on Overview and retains filters when returning.
  • Keeps Back/Forward visible on Live game and fixes clipped champion-select content at smaller window sizes.
  • Uses consistent Champions/Matchups labels, clearer champion-section selection, working catalog sorting and improved Preferences/lesson accessibility labels.
  • Prevents nested controls from handling a mouse-wheel action more than once.

Controlled rendering tests improved from approximately 278 to 11 ms per move/repaint cycle and 277 to 14 ms per history-scroll update. These are offscreen UI measurements, not game FPS or a verified live mouse/compositor result.

Validation includes 769 core checks, 42 new UX interaction checks, existing dashboard, navigation, Preferences, update-integrity and helper regressions, plus installer upgrade/rollback checks. Layouts were inspected at 1920x1040 and 1280x950. Fresh live League integration and actual screen-reader use remain unverified.

The original logo, most-played champion background, saved preferences, reviews, rank history and recovery copies are preserved. Preferences and Updates remain popups. Retired overlays and unavailable build integrations remain disabled; no Riot or Overwolf approval is claimed.

Download RiftReference-Setup.exe or use Updates in Rift Ready. The updater verifies publisher-signed metadata and installer integrity. The installer is not Windows Authenticode-signed. The experimental Game Bar widget is not included.

Rift Ready 0.12.21 — Reliability and efficiency fixes

Choose a tag to compare

@existntl existntl released this 09 Sep 05:26

Updates now opens as a popup like Preferences; other sections remain pages.

  • Protects unreadable preferences and saves atomically with a recovery copy.
  • Reuses match-detail pages and bounds navigation history to reduce retained UI resources.
  • Refreshes stale champion summaries, review context and matchup references.
  • Prevents helper restart after shutdown and removes unnecessary idle/rendering work.
  • Fixes a race between update downloads and background release checks.
  • Preserves page navigation and review drafts; matches and unsaved reviews still block installation.

Validation passed: 769 core checks, targeted audit/navigation regressions, settings/UI/helper suites, signature checks, and installer upgrade/rollback from 0.12.20. Repeatedly opening one match retains 1 page instead of 20; no in-game FPS improvement is claimed. Fresh live-game integration remains unverified.

Original logo, most-played champion artwork, preferences, reviews and rank history are preserved. Retired overlays and unavailable recommendations remain disabled. Riot/Overwolf integration and permissions remain unresolved.

Download RiftReference-Setup.exe or use Updates in Rift Ready. The updater verifies publisher-signed metadata and installer integrity. The installer is not Windows Authenticode-signed; the experimental Game Bar widget is not included.

Rift Ready 0.12.20 — Pages and a cleaner feature set

Choose a tag to compare

@existntl existntl released this 09 Sep 05:02

Champions, champion reference, LP history, match details, Matchups, Review and Updates now live in the main window. Preferences remains a popup.

  • Back/Forward navigation preserves filters and review drafts.
  • LP history displays real locally recorded snapshots, with time filters.
  • Match pages show known final personal stats and inventory.
  • Removes demo sessions and fixes clipped Preferences buttons.
  • Shortens the cooldown setting to ‘Minutes and seconds’.
  • Temporarily removes overlays and unavailable build recommendations while integrations and permissions are unresolved.

The original logo and most-played-champion background remain. Missing data stays unavailable: no public-player lookup, event timelines or prediction features are added. Saved preferences, reviews, rank history and recovery copies are preserved.

Download RiftReference-Setup.exe or use Updates in Rift Ready. The updater verifies publisher-signed metadata and installer integrity; the installer is not Windows Authenticode-signed. The separate experimental Game Bar widget is not included.

Validation includes application, navigation, settings, mobile privacy, and installer upgrade/rollback checks. Live-game integration has not been revalidated for this release.

Rift Ready 0.12.18 — Player overview redesign

Choose a tag to compare

@existntl existntl released this 09 Sep 04:29

Rift Ready has a new blue-black and teal desktop layout, with the original logo unchanged.

  • Horizontal navigation and a wide champion-art banner.
  • Background artwork follows your most-played champion across up to 100 loaded matches.
  • Redesigned profile, ranked progression, champion performance and match-summary panels.
  • Clearer match rows with actual item icons when available.
  • Local champion/role search, queue filters and 100/50/20-match ranges.
  • A champion-history browser that filters Overview when you select a champion.
  • Matching rounded dropdowns and teal settings switches.

The banner uses loaded all-queue history, not lifetime mastery. Artwork is cached from Riot's static CDN; no account or match data is uploaded. Missing history/artwork uses a neutral background. Search filters local matches, not other players' profiles.

Upgrades preserve preferences, reviews, overlay layouts, rank history and recovery copies. Download RiftReference-Setup.exe or use Updates in Rift Ready. The updater verifies publisher-signed metadata and installer integrity; the installer is not Windows Authenticode-signed.

@existntl existntl released this 09 Sep 03:16

Rift Ready 0.12.17 refreshes the desktop interface in the existing charcoal and teal palette.

  • Settings now use compact pill switches with clear on/off states.
  • Dropdowns have rounded triggers, detached dark menus, selected-row checkmarks, keyboard navigation, and type-to-select.
  • Champion select uses compact roster cards, highlights your pick, and shows team champion-tag counts.
  • Live match roster cards have clearer separation.
  • Builds & runes has clearer tabs, selected build cards, and matching dropdowns.

Existing preferences, saved reviews, loadout selection, and update safeguards are preserved.

Download and run RiftReference-Setup.exe, or use Updates in Rift Ready. The installer does not require a .NET SDK or Electron runtime.

@github-actions github-actions released this 09 Sep 02:24

Rift Ready 0.12.16 refines the desktop window chrome and Preferences experience.

  • Adds a slim Rift Ready title strip with compact Windows-ordered window controls.
  • Opens Preferences as a fixed, close-only modal over a dimmed app background.
  • Makes the optional one-second timing click slightly louder at the same master volume.

The one-second click remains off by default. Existing preferences, overlay layout, rank history, review notes and recovery copies are preserved during upgrades.

Rift Ready 0.12.15

@existntl existntl released this 08 Sep 20:34

Rift Ready 0.12.15 brings the app's controls into one clearer, themed experience.

  • General, game overlay, audio/reminder, and phone/tablet options now live together in Preferences.
  • Update checks, release notes, and installation now have a separate Updates window.
  • Preferences use Rift Ready's charcoal and teal theme, grouped cards, clearer active states, and consistent controls.
  • Match history scrolling, minimal window controls, secondary-monitor restoration, Practice Tool detection, and overlay marker alignment include the local fixes developed since 0.12.0.
  • Existing preferences, review notes, overlay layouts, rank history, and recovery copies are preserved during upgrades.

The public installer supports the standard borderless/windowed overlay. The separately installed local Game Bar component used for fullscreen testing is not bundled with this installer. Riot API profiles and the live Diamond+ recommendation feed remain unconnected. Live League behavior can still vary after game updates.

Rift Ready 0.12.0 — Player overview and ranked progression

Choose a tag to compare

@existntl existntl released this 07 Sep 20:04

New player overview with recent match results, champion performance and a compact charcoal layout.

  • Actual rank badges, LP progress bar and recorded ranked ladder graph.
  • Runes / builds opens the visual recommendation dashboard directly; the original editor is removed from navigation.
  • Upgrades preserve preferences and recorded rank history.

Rank and match data currently use the local League client. The graph builds from observed snapshots; it does not reconstruct earlier LP history. Riot API-backed profiles and live Diamond+ recommendations remain pending and are not activated by this update.

Validation: application checks, 13 home parsing checks, 14 rank-history checks, 33 recommendation checks, 17 collector tests, 5 transport tests, installer upgrade/rollback from 0.11.0 and publisher signature verification passed. Live-client integration remains unverified.

Rift Ready 0.11.0 — Build paths and desktop polish

Choose a tag to compare

@existntl existntl released this 07 Sep 18:50

New visual builds and runes dashboard with connected item paths, spells and observed skill order.

  • Paths / Options browsing, first-item filters, and popularity / win-rate sorting.
  • Choose a build directly from overlay settings.
  • Dark native title bars and explicit shortcut icons.

Live Diamond+ recommendations are not connected yet. These screens require a configured qualifying Riot aggregate feed; manual plans remain available. No API key or private collector database is included.

Includes existing overlay controls, fixed Baron/Elder buff cards and stats panel. Upgrades preserve preferences and recovery copies.

Validation: application checks, 29 recommendation checks, 17 collector tests, 98 overlay checks, installer upgrade/rollback and publisher signature verification passed.

Rift Ready 0.10.0 — Game overlays

Choose a tag to compare

@existntl existntl released this 07 Sep 05:22

Optional native overlays for borderless/windowed League games.

  • Hold the scoreboard key for role-aligned inventory-value differences and complete team inventory totals, excluding unspent gold.
  • Item and component purchase progress from a manual target or saved build plan.
  • Fixed Baron (3:00) and Elder (2:30) cards appear after kills and expire independently. These estimate objective windows, not individual holders.
  • Optional CS/min, kill participation, total CS, K/D/A and vision stats.
  • Compact build and stats panels support dragging, resizing, independent locks, closing and opacity in the layout editor. Per-panel gears replace the shared toolbar.
  • Upgrade preserves preferences, review notes, overlay settings and recovery copies.

Enable in Game overlay settings. Edit before playing; live overlays are click-through. Ctrl+Enter accepts, Esc cancels, F6 changes preview screen. Save overlay settings afterward.

Limitations: manual scoreboard alignment; exclusive fullscreen unsupported; automatic Probuilds/Onetricks feeds not connected. Live League overlay validation remains pending. No enemy cast tracking, spell countdowns or Riot endorsement. Installer metadata is publisher-signed for the updater; installer is not Windows Authenticode-signed.
