v0.9.7
Fixed
- Page turns did nothing on sites that cage the content in an inner scroll container (most mobile layouts): the DOM scrolled but the engine never repainted, so the screen stayed put. rmweb now untraps the content back into the document and scrolls it - verified 23/23 turns on a trapped-scroll test page.
- Typing on the on-screen keyboard repainted the whole screen per keystroke. Typed text now echoes in a field right above the keys (easier on the eyes too), and only that zone is presented - no more full-screen redraws while typing.
- Chrome bar on narrow panels: bar metrics, icons and fonts now scale with the panel width (Paper Pro rendering unchanged). With the 954 px wide Paper Pro Move geometry the address box no longer collapses.
- A rare hang class where the GUI thread blocked mid-present and ignored both taps and SIGTERM until a reboot: a watchdog now hard-exits the app after 12 s of event-loop silence, so the launcher restores the stock UI.
- Download UUIDs now carry full 128-bit entropy (a weak seed could collide and overwrite a library document; also fixes a flaky CI fuzz test).
Changed
- Default page zoom for fresh profiles is now 0.5 (was 0.85). Existing profiles keep their saved zoom.
- Install docs: an OS OTA also restores the stock sleep/power-off images and leaves the rootfs read-only - restore steps added.
Added (developer/diagnostics)
- RMWEB_PANEL=WxH fakes the panel geometry to dry-run the Paper Pro Move UI on a Paper Pro; raw touch maps 1:1 into the faked viewport.
- RMWEB_DEBUG_BLOCKGUI (watchdog proof) and RMWEB_DEBUG_UITAP2 (two-tap flows).
