YapSketch 0.2.1
- Choose a microphone for dictation and screen recordings.
- Improved dictation startup and microphone reconnection.
- Optionally mute other audio while dictating.
- Add custom names and terms manually for better spelling.
- Edit saved dictation text in History.
- Faster repeat dictation with supported local models.
- Simpler pasting: your words stay on the clipboard, and Enter is never pressed automatically.
- Reorganized settings and clearer fn-key shortcut warnings.
- Updated floating controls to improve visibility across desktops and full-screen apps.
YapSketch 0.2.0
- What's pasted for your agent is now a timeline: what you said and did, in order, each line with its time. A picture follows every drawing or pointer circle, cropped to the window you were in.
- Reports are ready the moment you stop. Jev and Smart pictures are gone, so nothing is sent anywhere to pick pictures, and setup is one less step.
- New:
yapsketch framesshows your agent the screen at any moment of a recording, or a stretch of it as a grid of frames. - Browser tab titles in the paste no longer include your profile name.
- The recording toolbar comes back when it gets stuck on one Space.
YapSketch 0.1.3
- Pictures in History line up in a tidy grid, without captions under them.
- Reports for your agent are cleaner: no more "drew a red mark" lines, and a mark is only noted when it's on something with a name.
YapSketch 0.1.2
- Every screen you mark gets its own picture in a report, so none of your drawings is left out. This works without Jev too.
- A part where you only talked, with nothing happening on screen, no longer gets a picture, and long recordings keep a sensible number of them.
YapSketch 0.1.1
- Pick your sounds: seven sound packs in Settings › General, with a quiet click by default. Stopping a recording and problems now have a sound too, and stop sounds play the moment you stop.
- Pictures in History open over the whole window. Pinch or double-click to zoom, and use the arrow keys to move between them.
- No more error beep when there's nothing to paste into. Your text is copied instead.
- Settings has less text and a heading on every section.
- Pills fit their text, go away sooner when there's nothing to press, and stay while you point at them.
- With "Show words as you talk" off, the dictation pill is compact. Ink now fades by default.
YapSketch 0.1.0
- Record your screen while you talk and draw. YapSketch turns it into a prompt your coding agent understands, with a numbered picture for every point.
- Jev works out which of your words go with what you showed and picks the clearest moment for each.
- Hold fn to dictate anywhere on your Mac.
- Speech runs on your Mac, or in the cloud through Opper or OpenRouter.
