Digimon World Horizon 0.0.7 (2026-11-07)
Digimon World: Horizon 0.0.7 (2026-11-07, UTC).
New
- Simplified Chinese is now an in-game language. Enable your emulator’s 8 MB RAM option to use it. The other languages still work on an original 2 MB PlayStation.
- Press Square anywhere in the field for quick care. New HP and MP bubbles warn when either falls below 30%.
- The website has a Game data page with searchable techniques, learning chances, partner movesets and evolution requirements, in all nine page languages.
Changed
- Care gauges now show hunger, toilet needs and energy, including during training. Full means fine. The care HUD, digital clock and enemy life bars are always on.
- Frame rate adapts automatically: 20 fps at normal CPU speed, 60 fps with a suitable overclock. Game speed stays the same.
- With NEW DIGIMON on, each In-Training has six regular Rookie routes and every raisable Ultimate has two Megas. Natural evolutions no longer skip stages, and quiz starters are refreshed.
- Mojyamon trades refresh daily with new rewards, including an evolution item for Dolphmon. Monochromon’s shop lets you choose prices and read customers’ reactions.
- More imported partners learn fitting, stronger techniques. Ordinary attacks keep scaling at high Offense, and enemies vary their moves instead of repeatedly interrupting you with weak attacks.
- Many imported Digimon have improved proportions, walks, battle animations, voices and preferred places. Partner portraits fit their status boxes.
Fixed
- Fixed freezes when food causes illness, during conversations with residents and in scripted movement.
- Rookies can evolve when their requirements are met after loading a save or waking up.
- Corrected punches and dashes that missed, a finisher that hit its own caster, and MP spent on attacks while quick battles were still loading.
- Battle rewards count up promptly and can be skipped reliably. Returning to the field no longer causes a camera hitch.
- Double Floppy restores 1,500 HP and MP again. Shops show item descriptions, with many descriptions corrected to match their effects.
- Fixed cut-off Item Bank names, six-digit Bits amounts, blank card-trade rows and numerous translated menu and dialogue overflows.
- Repaired blocked returns, walkable rock faces, hard-to-see exits and unreachable ground items.
- Fixed Windows build failures, iPhone disc writing, misleading storage warnings and false “another tab” errors. Android downloads keep the .cue filename.
Saves from 0.0.6 work. The required discs have not changed.

- Digimon World 3 (USA) can now supply the World 3 imports. All three supported World 3 releases receive the model fixes.
- New toilets and stronger wild encounters in the Iron Hills, the Seam and Overdell Pass. Every vending machine now has its own selection.
Changed
- With NEW DIGIMON on, every raisable Ultimate has a Mega evolution, Whamon is an Ultimate, and Vemmon is a Rookie. The evolution chart shows every route.
- Many imported Digimon have improved walks, runs, sleep and celebration animations, steadier sizes, clearer flat sprites and more fitting voices and techniques.
- Rare daily ground items appear more often.
- Apocalymon keeps its giant size through every animation.

- Fixed battles stalling with flattened enemies, pauses after victory and nearby NPCs joining unintended battles.

- The desktop patcher now handles European base discs with Japanese Card Arena correctly. The browser builder explains when storage space is insufficient.
Saves from 0.0.5 work. The required games are unchanged; Digimon World 3 (USA) is now another supported source.

Digimon World Horizon 0.0.5 (2026-11-04)
Digimon World: Horizon 0.0.5 (2026-11-04, UTC).
New
- Eight new baby Digimon: Pabumon, Pichimon, YukimiBotamon and Nyokimon, then Motimon, Bukamon, Nyaromon and Yokomon, each on the way to its partner from the anime. With NEW DIGIMON on, rebirth offers eight eggs.
- Once Monochromon has joined the city, his cousin Tuskmon keeps the shop open, with a deal of the day you can haggle over.
- The gym's and the battle's tallies show which button skips them.
- On a computer, the web builder can remember your discs, so the next version does not ask for them again.
- Horizon Patcher, a desktop app for Windows and macOS, makes the disc without a browser. The site offers it once it is ready for the release.
Changed
- With NEW DIGIMON on, Phoenixmon, HerculesKabuterimon, MetalEtemon, Machinedramon, Analogman and Jijimon are Mega, and every Champion has two Ultimates to evolve into. With it off, every original Digimon has its original level.
- Imported Megas taller than DW1's own are brought down to about Machinedramon's size, and SkullSatamon and Knightmon to the size of DW1's big Ultimates.
- Nefertimon gets a real feline walk and run, with its front paws on the ground and inside its gauntlets.
- The Mansion Key is used up once all seven doors are open, so it no longer takes a bag slot.
- Starters from Jijimon's quiz begin with the technique that evolving into them teaches, so Gotsumon no longer starts with Megaton Punch.
- Each new area has three daily mushrooms, all on floor you can reach, and Poison Claw costs more MP.
- Kunemon's item menu offers only food, and Drimogemon's dirt job takes 5 trips worth double instead of 10.
- Retouched backgrounds keep their evening and night colours, and the new outdoor areas have softer evenings and nights like the original ones.
- Portuguese calls File Island Ilha Arquivo and File City Cidade Arquivo.
- A disc the builders recognise but cannot use yet now names the releases that work instead.
Fixed
- Buying at the File City stall no longer leaves a black rectangle on the screen.
- The game no longer freezes at times after the Meteormon fight, a bug of the original game.
- The Gabumon ambush in Ogre Fortress can no longer freeze the game: Kotemon now appears in the yard only after the fortress has fallen.
- A fight that drops an item no longer stops at "Pa" waiting for a button.
- Menus show the right letters and numbers on European and Japanese base discs.
- A reborn Botamon, Punimon, Poyomon or Tsunomon is no longer tiny in the field.
- Seraphimon's victory stays on screen instead of flying off the top.
- Minotarumon, Raremon, PrinceMamemon and nine other imports sleep without flipping over or sinking into the floor.
- You can no longer walk onto a rock in the new canyon screens, or get stuck behind a chair or in similar spots on the new screens.
- On retouched screens, pieces of the old picture no longer draw over the new art.
- Long dialogues keep the speaker's name in every language and font, Japanese text has no stray spaces, and the name keyboard's labels read right in every language.
- The title screen's Yes/No box is translated as soon as you change the language.
- Floramon and a few others name the right item, and the MetalMamemon in Factorial Town has his own name.
- Snimon and Suijinmon eat five meals a day and no longer starve down to a weight of 1.
- Digimon leaving for the city play their area's jingle instead of a stray sound, and Tapirmon runs off instead of vanishing.
Saves from earlier versions keep working. The discs you need have not changed, and the web builder can now remember them for the next version.

New
- 48 imported Digimon now have DW1's own chunkier proportions, so they sit better next to the original cast.
- 222 Digimon get hand-drawn icons, and the icons in the evolution chart and the City tab now move.
- A small meat bubble over the farmer shows when a harvest is waiting.
- The Press Start screen tells you which emulator settings would make the game run better. With 8 MB of RAM, rare animations no longer pause the game for a moment.
Changed
- A large balance pass changes lifetimes, training gains, the element chart, meals and restaurant prices, hunts and several evolution rules.
- Every win now gives at least a small stat gain, based on the strongest enemy.
- Every gym session now costs the same tiredness.
- The Mansion and the Ice Sanctuary open to any partner once Myotismon and Angemon have joined, and a Numemon can always use the costume.
- In the extended story, Sukamon clears the island's poop for 1000 bits, and Andromon can also remodel a Mamemon.
- Trading cards with ShogunGekomon and buying merit items now take any amount at once.
- 39 slow imported partners now walk and run at normal speed, and Silphymon and Snimon move better.
- X next to a machine or someone to talk to now opens your partner's care menu when it is showing.

- The second BlueMeramon now fights instead of repeating one line.
- The camera stays on the Tamer after scenes that walk it back.
- The City tab no longer keeps reading the disc while it is open.
- Menus show the right button icons again, and the digit 2 looks right in every language.
- Play time always shows two digits for the minutes, and the version text stays on screen.
- Buying a merit item with a full stack no longer takes your merit for nothing.
Saves from earlier versions keep working. The discs you need have not changed.

Digimon World Horizon 0.0.3 (2026-11-01)
Digimon World: Horizon 0.0.3 (2026-11-01, UTC).
New
- Twenty new Digimon can join your city. Each one lives in a single place in the world and has its own scene.
- When a Digimon joins your city, a jingle and a message now tell you, the first time only.
- In the evolution chart, Square opens a list of what each requirement needs and what your partner has. EVOLUTION GUIDE off removes it.
- A new Die of old age row in the Cheats menu ends your partner's life naturally, after a confirmation.
Changed
- Story decisions no longer cost you a recruit: every choice leads back to the same residents.
- City residents are now one-of-a-kind characters. 37 Digimon that were just repeated wild enemies are no longer residents, and they stay in the world as ordinary enemies.
- On the status screen, each care row shows its number in a box, the repeated discipline field is gone, and happiness reads from 0 to 100.
- Apemon, Gatomon, Salamon and Thundermon walk and run at normal speed, which also makes jobs with them much quicker.
- MetalGreymon Vaccine is now the original MetalGreymon in gold, with its original animations.
- The lifetime value in the Cheats menu now stops at 1 hour, so editing it can no longer kill your partner.
Fixed
- Curling runs smoothly: no more lag when moving the camera while aiming, and the score, stones and prompts no longer flicker.
- Partners past the original roster are now read correctly at attribute gates, so VioletElecmon and others are no longer wrongly refused or let in. A partner of this kind that turns into Sukamon also goes back to its own species.
- Training x5 no longer stops for an evolution when your partner has nothing to evolve into.
- Fixed hangs when your partner walks to the toilet or walks in a scene.
- Fixed a hang that blocked every screen around Factorial Town.
- Fixed a hang after a Guide me choice, and a hang in the Arena lobby sparring match.
- Greymon's challenge no longer catches you near Jijimon's door. It starts from Jijimon's talk, only with a Champion or above, and until then it no longer keeps other Digimon away.
- Aruraumon no longer blocks the clinic doorway, and Otamamon no longer counts as a City resident.
- Birdramon joins the city properly, and Whamon is visible again and shows its name in dialogue.
- A night encounter no longer starts with its speaker off screen.
- A story sign that stayed in English is now translated into every language.
Saves from v0.0.2 keep working and the four required discs have not changed. Residents who are no longer part of the roster leave your city, and their points stop counting. Emulator save states do not carry over: load your memory-card save on the new disc.
Apply the attached package to your own discs; see its README.

Digimon World Horizon 0.0.2 (2026-11-01)
Digimon World: Horizon 0.0.2 (2026-11-01, UTC).
New
- A new game now opens with Jijimon's seven-question test, which picks your partner from 35 rookies, or from the original nine with NEW DIGIMON off.
- New City tab in the Player menu: see who has joined your city and who is still missing.
- New enemy life bars above each enemy's head, with their current HP. NEW ENEMY BARS in OPTIONS turns them off, and your Select choice for showing them is now saved.
- The status screen shows care mistakes, discipline and a tiredness bar when NEW STATUS BARS is on.
- Monochromon's shop shift shows your profit and customer count as you work.
- The field pause shows the game version and, with CHEATS on, a hint that Select opens the Cheats menu.
- A new row in the Cheats menu turns the Select shortcuts on or off. They are off by default.
Changed
- The evolution tree is rebuilt: Digimon levels are corrected, every raisable Rookie reaches at least four Champions and every raisable Champion at least two Ultimates. Old saves keep their partner, who continues at the new level.
- Music keeps playing between screens that share it instead of restarting.
- The camera frames big partners properly and settles when they stand still.
- MetalGreymon Vaccine now moves and sounds like a MetalGreymon. Fifteen other Digimon get a voice closer to their family, and five of the slowest partners move faster.
- Monochromon's shop shift is easier to win: the recruit target is lower.
- The hungriest partners use less energy, so they need feeding less often.
- In the Cheats lists, left and right jump 10 rows.
- Spanish area names and signs follow the official Spanish release.
Fixed
- Text no longer piles up over the previous line in DuckStation with Enable Texture Cache on.
- Patching with the command line now works on Windows, and in folders with spaces in their names.
- Several routes in the new areas let you arrive too early. They now open at the right moment, and a save already past them can still walk back.
- NPCs and chests no longer block paths or treasure in the new areas.
- Fixed walls, stairs, arrivals and camera problems in the new areas.
- A fight's time limit now waits for active techniques to finish, which removes a cause of freezes.
- A partner with high Brains no longer loses its target against enemies with very high Defense.
- Jijimon talks again instead of opening the save machine.
- Greymon's challenge in File City no longer repeats on every visit.
- Pressing Select while paused no longer darkens the screen during a fight.
- At night, the clock no longer shows pieces of menu labels in translated languages, and those labels now read properly in German, French, Italian and Catalan.
- KingSukamon, Cherrymon, ShogunGekomon, Brachiomon, Tinmon, MasterTyrannomon and Hagurumon are back to their original size and gestures as NPCs.
- Kotemon, Taomon, Roachmon and MegaGargomon no longer show spare equipment in their animations, Kotemon's hit reactions recover properly, and Nefertimon's front legs are corrected.
- Whamon no longer waits at the docks while the ferry is closed, and Akatorimon can be reached in the Treasure Hunt.
- The Thriving City medal is no longer lost past 100 prosperity, seven wild recruits count for the right Digimon, and the jungle music is back on the screen that had lost it.
Saves from v0.0.1 keep working and the four required discs have not changed. Emulator save states do not carry over: load your memory-card save on the new disc.

Digimon World Horizon 0.0.1 (2026-10-31)
Digimon World: Horizon is a fan-made mod for the original PlayStation Digimon World, with additional Digimon, gameplay options, and the story expansion What the island forgot. This first release is the “everything” build; choose your options in the game.
Bring your own four discs: a supported Digimon World release, Digital Card Battle, Digimon World 2, and European Digimon World 2003 or Japanese Digimon World 3. USA World 3 and the first Japanese pressing of World 1 are unsupported. Use clean dumps; the patcher checks supported versions.
- Web: visit https://dw1horizon.com/, add your four disc images, build, and save the patched
.binand.cuetogether. Use a desktop browser with workers and local file storage support; allow several minutes and several GB of free space and memory. - CLI: extract the package, keep its files together, and run Python 3.10+ (on Windows, use
pyinstead ofpython3):
python3 dwpatch.py apply "World 1.cue" --source-disc "dcb=Card Battle.bin" --source-disc "dw2=World 2.bin" --source-disc "dw2003=World 2003.bin"Open the resulting .cue in your emulator with its .bin beside it. Your source images stay unchanged. The package README lists supported dumps and troubleshooting steps.
English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Catalan are selectable at first launch and in OPTIONS. Translations are beta drafts with partial editorial review; Japanese is our adaptation from Spanish, rather than the original Japanese script. Keep a backup of your memory card before switching builds. This early release has limited play coverage; report problems with your patcher log, disc region and language. Original PlayStation 2 MB memory limits remain the build target.
